Allergy to cold

Others are not allergic to the sun but to froid. As soon as they step outside in temperatures near or below zero, they make hives, hence the other name of this cold allergy: cold urticaria.

It mainly affects young adults, especially the women, and is caused by direct contact with the cold: take a cold shower, drink ice cold, bathe in cool water … This allergy must be taken seriously because it can cause lesions of the mouth, the esophagus and lead to anaphylactic shock.
