Alizée and Lorie: the heroines of the new Disney confide

Lorie and Alizée take us into the world of Tinker Bell

Lorie, you have been lending your voice to Tinker Bell since the beginning of the saga in 2008. What do you like so much about this little character?

L: What I like most is the fact that Tinker Bell is a family character. I also find myself in it. We have a lot of things in common.

Which ?

L: Friendship, fidelity, also means that she has a sacred character. Tinker Bell is nice but you shouldn’t step on her toes either! She knows what she wants and is determined. She is quite daredevil, adventurous and curious… I share all that with her.

Alizée, you are joining the great Tinker Bell saga this year. What made you want to participate in this project?

A : First of all, I said yes because it was Disney. It’s a safe bet, you are never disappointed by their animated films. And then, the character of Tinker Bell has a big place in my life. I have always loved his adventures. When I was little, “Peter Pan” was on repeat because it was my favorite cartoon. The fact that there is a new character and that people think of me, it is rather flattering. I am very lucky to be able to participate in this project.

As you said, Tinker Bell is important in your life. You even have a tattoo of her on your back. What does she represent to you?

A : He is a guardian angel. That’s why I made it behind my back, so as not to be tired, but at the same time, I wanted it to be there all the time …

If you had to sum up this latest Disney’s strong message, what would it be?

A : This film shows that you shouldn’t be prejudiced before you get to know people. This is essential even if it is sometimes difficult. Myself, I do not trust easily in life but it is important to know others before holding an opinion.

A message that you yourself send to your daughter?

A : Ah yes, totally. For today’s generation, appearance matters a lot. With social networks, everyone wants to be known, wants to be beautiful, but you have to be careful with that. It is not because we look good that we are inside and vice versa. Just because we seem reserved and shy doesn’t mean we’re not nice and we don’t have things to say. I talk a lot with my daughter.

“Tinker Bell and the Legendary Creature”, in theaters April 8, 2015
