Adult Tales: 6 Disney Villains Style Bedrooms

Adult Tales: 6 Disney Villains Style Bedrooms

If Maleficent and Ursula, the Evil Queen and Cruella were real people, their nests would surely look like this.

Disney films, whether artistic or animated, are always very beautiful. Often they even set the tone for fashion: cosplayers try to imitate the look of fairy-tale characters, fashion designers create collections inspired by the atmosphere of films, and fans arrange stylized photo sessions.

However, most often the focus is on princes, princesses and other positive characters. But villains have no less charm! A team of design experts on the online platform for home and interior design Angie’s List decided to rectify the situation. They have created bedrooms that reflect the villainous style of the main fairy tale bad guys.

Maleficent

Since horns are one of the most striking elements of the appearance of the heroine of Angelina Jolie, the designers decided to make them one of the accents of the witch’s bedroom. This is how an elegant rustic chandelier, horns on the wall and whimsical shape of gilded coffee table legs appeared. In addition, the designers are sure that Maleficent, as a modern woman, is probably proud of her appearance, and not ashamed of it. Therefore, a greenish tint, akin to the skin color of a sorceress, is also reflected in the interior – this is a plant and a glowing ball on a staff-floor lamp. By the way, this is the most fashionable interior color of the next year. The purple color and gold reflections are inspired by associations with the color of the lining of Maleficent’s cloak, the gold of the staff. And, of course, the faithful crow Diablo also found a place.

Cruella de Ville

Oh, this woman is the embodiment of style, elegance and flamboyance at the same time. The lines of this bedroom are as sharp as Cruella’s chiseled cheekbones. Black and white, “Dalmatian” print, the famous white fur coat of the villainess – all this is in the room. The designers also took some details from Cruella’s bedroom shown in the film. For example, a red telephone is still the same, only more modern. The red accents are a nod to Cruella’s garments, including the lining of her raincoat, shoes, and gloves.

Evil queen

The heroine Charlize Theron in the filmSnow white and the hunter“- cold, unapproachable and cruel. And very stylish: luxurious fabrics, velvet outfits, dark purple dress with white lining, gold brooch and crown. Therefore, the Queen’s bedroom is also luxurious: peacock feathers remind of her unusual throne, a plaid about the banner of the kingdom, a golden apple, and instead of a pencil holder – a golden skull on the table. And, of course, the famous mirror.

Ursula

The villainess from The Little Mermaid is incredibly charismatic. But in the modern world, she would have had a hard time: the current Ariels are not so easy to intimidate and confuse. Therefore, at home, Ursula needs to relax and unwind in order to gain strength. And the designers created a bedroom that is as similar as possible to Ursula’s home – the ocean. A lamp resembling an octopus, decorations made of seashells, corals and starfish – everything is just as it was in the cartoon. The aquarium, houseplants that look like algae, a wall that looks like ripples on the water – all refer to the marine theme.

Jafar

Yes, this is a man, but he also has a bedroom, and this is also a villain. His room turned out with an oriental accent – and how could it be otherwise. The general style reflects Jafar’s Arab roots and his desire for power and luxury – all of this is gold, patterns, Persian carpet. In the cage is Jafar’s faithful companion, the parrot Iago, and the same lamp with a genie stands by the bed.

Tamato

This is the same giant coconut crab – not the main villain, but still the villain from the Moana movie. His bedroom is also located under water, but at the same time it is very cozy. Deep blues, greens and browns, treasure chest – do you remember that the giant crab Tamatoa was thirsty for gold? And also an incredible chandelier and an unusual lamp on the bedside table – in general, we ourselves would not mind settling in such a nest.
