Acne (“acne vulgaris”, acne)

Acne – the sebaceous glands of the ducts become clogged, sebum accumulates in the skin, as a result of which the bacteria Propionibacterium Acnes or P. Acne begins to grow rapidly.

Causes of acne formation

Acne, as a rule, forms during puberty, at which time hormonal changes occur in the body.

Acne treatment

P.Acne bacteria do not exist in tissues that contain large amounts of oxygen, meaning they are anaerobic. The waste product of these bacteria is porphyrin. Consequently, when the porphyrin is converted into oxygen, the bacteria stop growing and die.
