Ivan keeps the defense in the position of the goalkeeper. During training on the football field, an athlete was struck by lightning. The players and coaches reacted quickly, called an ambulance, thanks to which Zaborovsky remained alive.

“Everyone worked quickly, very professionally,” the ambulance arrived eight minutes later. Most likely, he had a respiratory arrest, he was given first aid, maybe thanks to this the child survived, “said the general director of FC Znamya Truda.

According to him, there was no thunderstorm during the training – only a cloudy sky, and the lightning strike was a complete surprise for everyone.

Ivan was taken to intensive care. By the morning of July 6, information appeared that the athlete’s condition was stable, but there were severe burns in the area of the entrance and exit of the lightning. Doctors introduced the young man into an artificial coma.
