Despite the fact that the market of small household appliances is literally flooded with electric kettles with a variety of functional options, classic kettles for boiling water on a gas stove remain relevant and in demand. Moreover, they are produced in a wide range of well-known brands that are on everyone’s lips. For those who prefer this way and even some style, the editors of Simplerule magazine have prepared a special review of the most interesting models available in 2020.
Why it makes sense to prefer a classic kettle to an electric one
Despite all the advantages of electric kettles – one-button start, auto-stop when boiling, more accurate volume measurements, additional functionality – many see disadvantages in this form factor.
First, electric kettles fail sooner or later, and sooner rather than later. And this often does not correlate in any way with the price of a particular model and the name of the manufacturer. Various troubles can also await a kettle for a gas stove, but more often they happen through the direct fault of the owner, and not the manufacturer.
Secondly, the vast majority of affordable electric kettles have a body made of PVC or other polymers. And for many people, warnings about the release of harmful substances during contact of hot water with plastic are by no means an empty phrase. Kettles for a gas stove cannot be plastic by definition.
Thirdly, depending on utility rates for a particular household or even an entire region, using a kettle for a gas stove can be trite cheaper. For a large family, this is especially important.
Fourthly, an important and often defining moment is personal subjective preferences. To many people, a gas stove kettle, even a modern one and labeled with a fashion brand, seems to be something more “soulful”. Such a household item can literally be loved, while experiencing tender feelings for an electric kettle is already much more difficult.
Finally, a separate category of “elite” kettles for a gas stove is a determinant of status and emphasizes the extraordinary personality of the owner.
How to choose a kettle for a gas stove
Even such a seemingly simple item as a kettle for a gas stove has a number of criteria that should be taken into account when buying. Let’s briefly consider the most important of them.
Housing material
This refers to the main and most voluminous part of the body, which will be in direct contact with water when heated inside and with a flame outside. Kettles for a gas stove are aluminum, steel (mainly stainless steel), cast iron, enamelled, glass (sic!) And ceramic.
Few people produce aluminum teapots anymore, and you can’t meet them at all in the assortment of a self-respecting brand. Everything is obvious here – aluminum is a chemically rather active metal, and upon contact with water during the heating process, it actively “fertilizes” the water with harmful compounds. Such kettles do not meet any modern environmental standards. And although such products can still be bought in the store, we will not consider them, and this mention only serves as a warning about the potential danger in the long term.
Stainless steel is the most common option today. Stainless steel practically does not interact chemically with water. Outwardly, these teapots look especially attractive due to matte or glossy polishing. Only the thickness of the walls can matter. Very cheap items from no-name brands can simply be deformed due to the fact that the walls are more like foil than sheet steel. This is also just a warning, and in the review we will present only acceptable specimens.
Cast iron kettles for a gas stove in 2020 are not exactly rare, but certainly not a mass segment. In terms of heating speed, they lose much to stainless steel kettles, but they also retain heat much longer. Mostly those elite and insanely expensive teapots are made from high-quality cast iron. At the end of the review, we will consider one such model as an example.
Glass and ceramics are exotic and rare. Mostly, teapots are made of tempered glass, but they are also used for boiling on a gas stove. All their advantage is originality and the ability to “meditate” through the walls on the activity of air bubbles. Ceramics does not even have such an advantage, and is intended only for a very narrow circle of consumers who know exactly why they need it.
Enamel – coating “for an amateur”. On the one hand, soot stains quickly form on the enamel from the outside, on the other hand, it is quite easy to wash it. Enameled teapots are rarely produced without decoration, and very often they are floral themes that will not suit every interior and aesthetic taste. Finally, enamel will inevitably deteriorate over time. The destruction inside the kettle, combined with the corrosive ordinary steel of the body, threatens to ingress harmful compounds into the water. The exception is if the enameled case is made of stainless steel, but this is rare.
A pen
According to the design and form factor, the handles of kettles for a gas stove are swivel and fixed. Here the choice is a personal matter for everyone, but with rotary knobs (which “lie on their side” in static) trouble often happens. It is easy not to keep track of the intensity of the gas and / or the centering of the position of the kettle above the burner, due to which the handle, even heat-insulating, can literally become hot. In addition to the danger of getting burned, there is a risk of destruction of the thermal insulation itself.
Simplerule experts in this context considered thermal insulation as a mandatory element for many reasons, and we do not consider options with “bare” metal handles. Insulation can be bakelite, nylon, wood. Other options are much less common. The most common material for handles, as well as for holders of caps and the outer casing of whistles, is Bakelite.
Whistle
Everything is almost obvious here. It is highly desirable that the whistle be available and work properly – here it is not only and not so much about timeliness, but about preventing water from boiling away and overheating the kettle idle. But there is a nuance – often the whistle is installed tightly, and it cannot be removed. This will be a problem if you boil water in an apartment with sleeping children or household members. At the same time, there are plenty of models with a removable whistle.

The best inexpensive gas stove kettles
We proceed directly to the review, and traditionally we will start with the most affordable and at the same time acceptable in quality models. The four specimens presented differ in volume and structural elements, and will also give an idea of the neighboring lines of each manufacturer.
Appetite LKD-073 1.5 л
Rating: 4.7
The most compact kettle for a gas stove in the entire review opens the review. Its volume is only 1.5 liters. The Appetite trademark masquerades as British, but in fact the origin of the brand is most likely Chinese. In any case, Appetite LKD-073 is produced exactly in China.
The body of the kettle is made of stainless steel. External polishing – glossy, mirror. The handle is bakelite, closed, fixed. The lid holder is also bakelite in the form of a ball. The kettle weighs very little – only 0.5 kg, together with packaging – 0.57 kg. Base diameter – 18cm. Height including handle – 20 cm. Package dimensions – 18.5cmx20cmx18.5cm.
There is a built-in whistle that can be put on / taken off by simply pressing the lever. Although the whistle and lever are made of heat-insulating bakelite, they heat up decently, so if you want to “turn off” the whistle in the process of bringing water to a boil, you need to press it with a short movement so as not to burn yourself or use an oven mitt (kitchen mitt for hot dishes).
This model is best suited for individual use by one person or a couple without children. For more intensive use, it makes sense to look after any of the subsequent models, especially since the difference in price will be minimal.
In addition to the gas stove, the kettle is equally suitable for other types of stoves – electric and induction. Hereinafter, this will apply to all models in which the case is made of steel, including enameled ones. Rare exceptions will be specifically noted.
Advantages
stainless steel body;
bakelite handle;
mirror polishing (a plus for those who do not like matte surfaces);
very light;
whistle.
Disadvantages
Quite noisy due to thin walls.
the lever for opening the whistle noticeably heats up.
Mallony MAL-039-MP (985605) 2.3 л
Rating: 4.6
The second number in the selection of budget kettles for a gas stove is a more voluminous version of the Mallony trademark. Despite the English “flair” in the brand name, it belongs to a Russian enterprise – the NEVA-METAL POSUDA plant. There are doubts about whether this model is produced on the territory of the Russian Federation, or is still ordered under a contract from Chinese OEM contractors. But in relation to such an inexpensive and at the same time solid teapot, this point is not too fundamental.
In addition to the difference in volume, this model differs from the previous one also in the material of the handle. In this case, it is no longer Bakelite, but nylon. The handle itself is rotary, solid, made of stainless steel, and it is covered with a thick nylon sheath almost along its entire length. The shape of the handle is a large regular arc. The bottom of this model is single, which is normal for budget models. Bottom diameter – 18.5 cm. The height of the teapot without the handle is 17cm. Not suitable for washing in a dishwasher.
The teapot is delivered in a plastic bag with a hangtag. Weight without packaging – 570g, with packaging – 640g. Here, as in the previous case, the small weight of the kettle is a consequence of the minimum wall thickness – only 0.3 mm. This does not make this model look good, but it does not upset too much – consumer expectations are balanced by an affordable price.
Advantages
stainless steel;
whistle;
matte polish;
nylon handle.
Disadvantages
rotary knob.
GALAXY GL 9212 3 л
Rating: 4.5
And one more product of the Russian trademark, which carefully disguises itself as a Western one. The holder of the brand is the Ulyanovsk company Simbirsk-Crown. Despite the “guerrilla” in terms of the origin of the brand, GALAXY GL 9212 and neighboring models are in great demand. Produced in China.
This is already a kettle of the largest volume – 3 liters. There are even larger models on the market, but we will not consider them (the only exception is MAYER & BOCH 23854) due to a significant drop in practicality even compared to 3-liter models.
The kettle is made of stainless steel, unfortunately as thin as the above models. This causes dissatisfaction among some users, but most are ready to put up with it easily. The kettle is equipped with a whistle, which can “swing” in volume for some time, but over time it already whistles “as it should”.
The heat-insulating material of the handle is heat-resistant plastic. Although this raises some concerns, among hundreds of reviews of real users, there are practically no complaints about the material. On the other hand, there is a small percentage of buyers who encounter factory defects (handle play, a falling off whistle, body damage) and mistakenly consider this to be a drawback of the entire series. However, the Simplerule experts strictly write this circumstance as a shortcoming of the model.
A significant part of buyers is attracted by the original “pot-bellied” shape of the teapot. But with the material of the lid, the manufacturers clearly miscalculated. Here it is heat-resistant, but still plastic, and the first few or even several dozen boils will have a characteristic smell.
The product comes in a cardboard box measuring 23x23x21cm with a total weight of 920g.
Advantages
large volume;
stainless steel;
matte polish;
original form;
whistle.
Disadvantages
thin metal walls;
the characteristic smell disappears for a long time;
comes across a factory marriage.
Teapot Kelli enameled 3 l
Rating: 4.4
Completing the selection of the best inexpensive kettles for a gas stove according to Simplerule is a completely ordinary, but very “soulful” kettle of another “partisan” Russian brand Kelli. This is the only enameled model in this part of the review. Produced, as you might guess, in China.
The mere appearance of a Kelli teapot in just such a form factor (classic shape, enamel, rotary handle) evokes warm feelings. The most purchased modification is a red background with white polka dots. In the assortment of the manufacturer there are other solutions in terms of color and decor.
Handle thermal insulation material – ceramics. This is also a plus in the direction of “soulful” classics with nostalgia for mother’s or grandmother’s dishes. But in combination with a rotary knob, this is still a minus, since lying on its side, ceramics will most likely heat up from the outside by itself, even if gas does not escape from the bottom.
Also, the absence of a whistle can be written down as a minus of the model, although it does not fit here even in style. But the Kelli kettle has an advantage that no previous model can boast of – it can be washed in a dishwasher.
Advantages
cute and “soulful” design;
three-layer enamel;
ceramic thermal insulation of the handle;
Can be washed in the dishwasher.
Disadvantages
no whistle;
rotary knob.
Best stainless steel kettles for gas stove
The second selection is the most extensive in our review, and represents the most purchased category of kettles for gas stoves – with a stainless steel body. Here we will no longer be bound by the cost limit, but when compiling the selection, our experts were still guided by the issue of affordability as well.
Bohmann BH-9901 2.5 л
Rating: 4.9
Let’s start with the most inexpensive Bohmann teapot in the selection. The brand is registered in Austria, but the dishes are made in China – there are no surprises here.
Despite the fact that this model is at least twice as expensive as any of the previous ones, there is definitely something to pay an extra 400-600 rubles for, depending on the point of sale. A higher class is noticeable immediately – by the quality of materials and assembly, by the absence of a characteristic smell even at the first time of use, as well as by some elements of ergonomics and attention to detail.
The body of the Bohmann BH-9901 is made of stainless steel, and its quality is noticeably better than that of budget options. The walls are no longer so thin, and the metal itself does not form darkening and stains on the surface. Externally, the body of the kettle is finished with a special material that 100% solves the problem of traces of dried water and fingerprints. Externally, the coating resembles a super-resistant hammer paint.
The handle of this model is fixed, heat-insulating coating of thick nylon. Users note that the handle still noticeably heats up, but this is only in cases where the kettle is overexposed to fire. The same applies to the whistle opening lever.
In general, this model is good for everyone, but there is one strange limitation. According to the manufacturer, the kettle is not suitable for use on induction hobs. Although our review is focused on models where this property is not necessary, namely, on kettles for gas stoves, we will still consider such a limitation as a disadvantage.
Advantages
high-quality steel case;
non-staining exterior finish;
whistle;
nylon handle;
attractive appearance.
Disadvantages
not suitable for induction cookers.
Chajnik Rondell Fiero RDS-498 3 l
Rating: 4.8
The second number we propose to consider is the teapot of the Rondell trademark. The brand itself is more expensive, and this particular model is twice as expensive as the previous one. But even a cursory glance at the Fiero RDS-498 is enough to recognize this price as quite fair. The Rondell trademark is German, and the teapot is made in the same China.
Just a few words about the most noticeable – design. The teapot looks very impressive even if only with a combination of a bright red outer coating of most of the body area, polished mirror metal and black heat-resistant bakelite. All this is also well thought out in terms of lines, curves and proportions. It is even pleasant to look at the product, and tactile contact acts completely disarmingly.
Actually, the handle produces a significant effect. It is made of Bakelite and finished with a soft-touch finish. Of course, it is not eternal, but users forgive rather fast abrasion even to smartphones and laptops for the opportunity to enjoy tactile comfort at least for some time.
Further more. This is the first kettle in our review, which is equipped with a capsule (multilayer) bottom with a full-fledged induction disc with a diameter of 14cm. The outer coating, the very bright red, has heat-resistant and oleophobic properties – over time, it does not lose its luster and purity of shade, it is easy to clean. In any case, you need to remember that this model cannot be cleaned with abrasive powders and washed in a dishwasher.
The teapot is pleasantly weighty – 1325 g without packaging. And the packaging itself is such a “cherry on the cake” – it is beautiful and with a handle, so Rondell Fiero RDS-498 can be a good gift. Official warranty – 24 months.
Advantages
quality materials and assembly;
soft-touch handle coating;
the outer casing is easy to clean;
capsule (multilayer) bottom;
maintains high water temperature for a long time;
effective design and coloring;
gift box with handle;
2 year warranty.
Disadvantages
the lid heats up noticeably;
cannot be washed in the dishwasher.
Nadoba Virga 731002 2.8 in
Rating: 4.7
The third number in the selection of the best stainless steel kettles for gas stoves according to Simplerule magazine, we will consider the very popular model of the Nadoba Virga series. This is a well-known Czech brand of quality mid-range tableware.
Outwardly, this kettle looks quite attractive, but only in appearance and without knowing the manufacturer, it will be difficult to distinguish it from the models of the first budget group with all their shortcomings. However, with a closer acquaintance, its advantages cause undeniable respect.
So, the body of the kettle is completely cast, made of high-quality steel marked 18/10. These figures imply that the composition of the alloy includes, in addition to iron, another 18% chromium and 10% nickel. Chromium in this content provides the stainless properties of steel, and nickel gives the surface, especially polished, that very unique shine. Steel 18/10 is called differently – food or even surgical, but in any case, it is 18/10 that is considered optimal for steel utensils, including professional ones.
Further, we also see, in fact, the same advantages – a triple capsular bottom, a fixed comfortable Bakelite handle, the same material of the whistle nozzle, opening the whistle with one movement of the lever from the side of the handle. The lid holder is also bakelite, the gap between the lid is large, the fingers do not get stuck and do not touch the hot surface. Teapot dimensions – 215x235x205mm, weight with packaging – 1230g.
Everything here would be perfect, if not for one not too significant, but uncomfortable moment – when you open the spout, large drops of condensate fly out of it.
Advantages
brand;
quality steel with chrome and nickel 18/10;
triple capsule bottom;
sufficiently thick walls;
well thought out ergonomics;
laconic, but pleasant appearance.
Disadvantages
spout “spits” condensate.
Tefal C7921024 2.5 l
Rating: 4.7
Now we bring to your attention a kettle for a gas stove, about the quality of which only the name of the manufacturer, Tefal, can say a lot. Of course, in a modern, thoroughly globalized world, it is not very reasonable to be guided only by this single criterion, but a well-known brand still significantly reduces the likelihood of a frankly failed choice.
Outwardly, Tefal C7921024 is a “close relative” of the above-described Czech model. Indeed, the teapots are very similar in shape and finish – matte polished. The spout opening system is made in a similar way – the lever is located in the front lower part of the handle, so there is no need to contact the hot whistle. The handle is fixed, made of bakelite, of a decent thickness, which, however, does not save it from noticeable heating if the kettle is overexposed on fire.
This is where similar moments end and differences begin, unfortunately, not in favor of the current reviewed model. The body of the kettle is completely cast, there are no seams here, but the very quality of the steel is questionable. So, users often have cases when, after the use of aggressive detergents, the metal changed its properties. On the other hand, a lot of people use citric acid for descaling and don’t report any problems. In any case, the choice of detergent must be approached with all due diligence. Also here is the usual single bottom and there is no induction disc.
Everything said in the previous paragraph, against the background of a higher price than the previous model, speaks of a clear premium for the brand. Nevertheless, this particular modification is in great demand and, with all the shortcomings, is generally a positive feedback.
Advantages
renowned brand;
whistle;
thick bakelite handles;
spout opening lever on the handle;
simple but nice looking.
Disadvantages
strange properties of the body steel (interaction with detergents);
simple single bottom.
Rondell Infinity RDS-424 2.7 л
Rating: 4.6
And completes the selection of the best, according to Simplerule magazine, stainless steel kettles for gas stoves, another remarkable and even wonderful model of the German brand Rondell. Traditionally, the list is closed by the most expensive position in the selection.
Unlike the representative of another famous brand described above, there is no longer any doubt about the quality of the materials and the rather high class of the product as a whole. In the end, a decent price somehow obliges this, and there are vanishingly few complaints about the high cost in the reviews of real users.
The bottom diameter of the Rondell Infinity RDS-424 is 19cm. The bottom itself is capsular, presumably three-layered. Contains an induction disc, suitable for induction hobs. Outwardly, most of the surface area of the teapot is covered with a resistant protective SkinLayer layer with a characteristic texture. It also performs the function of one hundred percent masking of traces of dried splashes, streaks and fingerprints.
The handle of the teapot is made of nylon. The whistle is made of Bakelite with a steel core. The lever for opening the spout is located on the handle itself in a convenient place. Thus, you can fill the kettle with water without removing the lid, but by opening the spout with one movement of one hand. And in general, ergonomics, weight distribution and ease of use deserve special praise. The only point is that the manufacturer does not recommend washing the kettle in the dishwasher.
The official warranty for this model from the manufacturer is 24 months.
Advantages
brand;
quality of materials and assembly;
lever for opening the spout on the handle;
ergonomics;
capsule bottom;
textured SkinLayer coating;
general appearance;
2 years warranty.
Disadvantages
cannot be washed in the dishwasher.
The best enameled kettles for a gas stove
The third selection in our review was compiled by Simplerule experts especially for those who prefer enameled teapots. Despite the obvious disadvantages, they also have their advantages. Also, many people simply love them for their cheerful, positive and colorful design themes.
Whistling kettle Appetite 4s209ya 3 l
Rating: 4.9
First, let’s look at an example of a good enameled teapot of the Appetite trademark, already familiar to us. Actually, this is a whole series of models that are identical in design, but differ in design.
The main material is steel, which is relatively thick, so that, taking into account the enamel, the wall thickness is +/- 1mm. The layering, natural for enameled products, in combination with the thickness of the rolled steel, ensures the low noise of the kettle when boiling. The whistle works out its function as it should.
The handle of this model is fixed, made of bakelite, the shape is angular, open. Adding appeal and solidity is a transparent tempered glass lid with a polished steel rim and a bakelite holder.
The model range is represented by almost a dozen options for colors and decoration. Each style decision has a name – Roses, Citrus, etc. There are completely plain ones with color, but without a pattern, such as Azalea.
The height of the teapot is 24.5cm, the diameter of the bottom is 16cm. The bottom is single, the same thickness as the walls – 1mm. The product weighs 1.4kg and comes in a sturdy cardboard box.
However, this model has its shortcomings. The first, more significant, is that with a strong boil, the lid may (not necessarily) let steam through, which is why the whistle whistles quieter, heats up and the handle “sweats”. The second is the black color of the enamel on the inner surface. To many, this decision seems strange and unnatural, but this is more a matter of taste.
Advantages
quality steel;
relatively thick walls and bottom;
whistle;
transparent tempered glass cover;
a wide range of color and design options.
Disadvantages
the lid can let steam through;
the enamel of the inner coating is black.
Kettle with a whistle SteelEmal 4s210ya 2 l
Rating: 4.8
The second number in the selection of the best enameled kettles for a gas stove according to Simplerule is a sample of domestic production – a Cherepovets company with a somewhat “ruthless” name “StalEmal”. Despite possible prejudices, this model is quite high-quality and even outwardly looks quite presentable.
This kettle has a number of points that make it similar to the previous model. This is a similar open shape of the handle, the same design of the whistle, the tempered glass lid, and even the similar shape of the teapot in general. Only its volume is no longer 3, but 2 liters, and the heat-insulating elements are not bakelite, but plastic. Plastic, however, is quite resistant, and does not cause any intelligible complaints from users.
The height of the teapot is 22.5cm. Made of good steel, the wall thickness is comparable to the previous model, that is, sufficient. May be washed in a dishwasher. Also, similar to the Appetite model, the manufacturer offers a wide range of color and decoration options. You can choose both traditional floral themes (Rosehip, Poppy, Rowan, as well as more abstract ones – Carmen, etc.).
The kettle weighs 1.2 kg. Height – 22 cm, width – 19.1 cm (it is also the diameter of the base), depth (spout added) – 24 cm.
Advantages
solid quality of materials and assembly;
a wide range of design options;
glass cover;
enamel is firmly held;
Can be washed in the dishwasher.
Disadvantages
the lid may let steam through (optional).
Kettle MAYER & BOCH23854 3.5 l
Rating: 4.7
The third item is an enameled teapot of a Chinese brand with German “notes” in the name – MAYER & BOCH. Its main feature is the volume increased to 3.5 liters, plus some design and style features that distinguish it from other models in the group.
Firstly, this is one of the few examples where stainless steel is used even for an enamelled teapot. It would seem, why stainless steel, if there is already a protective coating – enamel. In fact, everyone is well aware that even the strongest enamel can chip for a variety of reasons. And if there is a metal under it that is susceptible to corrosion, then this very corrosion will not take long. And all this is a significant loss in appearance, and if there is a chip inside, and not outside, unwanted and even harmful compounds get into the water. Here this question is completely closed.
Secondly, this model boasts a spout opening lever located right on the handle in the lower front of it. This is facilitated by the closed shape of the handle, but the closed shape does not always automatically mean that the manufacturer will take care of the maximum convenience of the consumer. Here it is done, and done in good faith.
The thermal insulation of the handle is thick Bakelite, painted over the entire area in the color of the main theme. There are two themes themselves – orange and purple, both floral (orchids and roses) and very colorful.
The kettle weighs 1.37 kg. The already mentioned high-quality steel of the case, dimensions, and additional design elements contribute to this weight. The product is packed in a characteristic box, which in itself is a separate high-quality product. The dimensions of the box are 26x23x23cm, the weight of the teapot with packaging is 1480g.
In this model, everything is very, very good, even good and sometimes unique, but there is an unpleasant moment – the colored paint quickly peels off the bakelite handle.
Advantages
stainless steel base;
high quality enamel;
spout opening lever on the handle;
colorful decoration;
increased volume (who cares);
Industrial Design.
Disadvantages
the paint peels off quickly.
Whistling kettle METROT Oliva 2.5 l
Rating: 4.5
Completes the selection of the best enameled kettles for gas stoves, according to the experts of Simplerule magazine, a series of products of the METROT trademark. The owner of the brand is supposedly a Russian company closely associated with a well-known Serbian manufacturer of quality enamelware, Metalac. In any case, this series is actually produced by Metalac.
This model was included in our review exclusively as an “audience award”, since in a number of ways it loses to the same MAYER & BOCH, but at the same time it costs more. But this is one of the frequently bought models with excellent feedback.
In terms of shape and form factor, this series is very similar to the first and second positions in this review selection. The same open shape of the handle, exactly the same whistle, similar shape and the widest range of decorations. There are no questions about the quality of materials and assembly.
In terms of artwork, the most bought (and offered) modification is the greenish Olives theme. The height of the teapot is 23cm. Packing dimensions – 21x24x21cm. Weight with packaging – 2.1kg.
The disadvantages of this model are minor. There is only one direct drawback – the lid does not have fixing grooves, so it does not hold securely. The second point is the price, which some users consider too high. But it does not reduce buying activity.
Advantages
quality materials and assembly;
strong enamel;
colorful decoration in a large assortment;
wide spout (water does not splash when pouring);
thick, presumably capsular bottom.
Disadvantages
lid doesn’t stay on well.
Premium cast iron kettles for gas stove
Finally, we got to the topic of absolutely amazing teapots in every respect. These specimens cannot be called anything other than elite. Even the wording “premium class” for them seems understated. Nothing surprising when it comes to a kettle for a gas stove, which costs like not the worst washing machine.
We will not provide a list of the best models, since they are all “the best” there, and there are surprisingly plenty of such teapots for sale that cost 15-20 thousand or more rubles.
Take, for example, the American trademark MacKenzie-Childs. This is in its own way a unique phenomenon in the market of high-quality tableware. The company was founded as an ordinary family contract in 1983. But its founders are exceptionally extraordinary people – the artists Victoria and Richard McKenzie-Childs. The creative energy of Victoria and Richard has found a vivid embodiment in products, each copy of which is a real work of art.
There are also more ordinary models that do not immediately “ask” for a collection shelf, but still really look like teapots, but only with unique properties in their own way. Let’s consider a single example that will give an idea of this “transcendental” class of kitchen utensils.
dust 1650085 1.5 lt

The Staub trademark represents the eponymous French manufacturer of premium tableware. The model our experts included to illustrate this level of utensils is a small 1.5 liter kettle with some relatively unique features.
The teapot is made of high quality cast iron. Coated with extra-class basil enamel. On some resources, it is positioned as brewing, but this is not entirely true. This model can be used as a brewer – there are appropriate accessories for this. But initially Staub 1650085 was designed as a kettle specifically for boiling, and a small volume is also a consequence of the elitism of the series.
Despite the outward simplicity and unpretentiousness, a whole group of engineers carefully worked on the development of the entire series with the assistance of specialized consultants. The finest nuances were taken into account in order to derive the optimal formula for the combination of material composition, wall thickness in different places, boiling time and cooling rate.
The diameter of the base of this model is 16.5cm. Supplied in a gift box. Heavy-duty enamel is applied both outside the kettle and inside. Cast iron of a special grade has the necessary properties so that the kettle can be used on any type of cooker, including induction.
The manufacturer recommends washing the kettle thoroughly with dishwashing detergent before first use. Further washing is also allowed in the dishwasher. It is strongly recommended to avoid sudden changes in temperature, since any cast iron is quite fragile and may one day crack if you start to draw ice water into a heated kettle.
