The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes the use of chamomile for relieving nervous restlessness and minor insomnia. Consumed in herbal tea for centuries at bedtime, the calming and sedative effects of the plant are usually attributed to apigenin, one of the active substances it contains.

Dosage : infuse 1 tablespoon (= tablespoon) of dried chamomile in boiling water.
