Aloe vera juice for healing the body

What do we know about aloe vera? Most people think that this is only a cosmetic product for dry and burnt skin. But aloe vera has broader medicinal properties. Studies have shown that this plant improves immunity, normalizes blood sugar, relieves swelling and redness. This is a wonderful natural remedy.

Aloe vera juice has a number of valuable properties:

  • Improves digestion and relieves constipation

  • Eases stomach pain and heartburn
  • Reduces body acidity
  • Normalizes the work of the stomach
  • Improves memory, promotes learning and uplifts mood

More can be said! Aloe vera contains a huge amount of nutrients – vitamins A, C, E and B12, potassium, zinc and magnesium. Antioxidants help balance metabolism, heal the oral cavity, increase immunity, and stabilize blood pressure. There is evidence that aloe vera supports heart health.

Why drink aloe juice?

There are over 400 different types of aloe, and they vary in their chemical composition. If you use aloe, you need to make sure that it is aloe vera. The advantage of juice is that all the richness of nutrients can be consumed without the unpleasant taste of fresh aloe. You can buy aloe juice at a health store or make your own.

How to make aloe juice yourself?

You can buy aloe leaves, but make sure they are labeled “edible”. Aloe vera is also easy to grow at home. Cutting off a leaf from a plant, you will not damage it – aloe has a good ability to self-heal. You just need to use a sharp knife so that the cut heals faster. Cut the sheet in half and squeeze out the gel (and only the gel!). Don’t pick up hard yellow areas on the sheet.

Place the gel in a blender, adding lemon, lime or orange to taste. Thus, fruits will also appear in your diet. A ratio of 1:1 is recommended. Now you need to add a glass of cold water to the mixture. If the taste of the juice is too sharp, you can take more water. To make the drink even more healthy, you can add a little apple cider vinegar.

Противопоказания

Taking aloe vera juice for healing the body does not need to get carried away. Everything in moderation, right? Aloe vera leaves contain the compound aloin, which can cause a strong laxative effect. Also, the abuse of aloe vera juice is fraught with the occurrence of electrolyte imbalance.
