A startup of Moscow students took first place in the competition for young entrepreneurs. Generation Z has once again proven its progressiveness.
Synergy University jointly with the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of the Moscow Government announced an International Competition for Young Entrepreneurs and began searching for interesting business ideas around the world. As a result, more than 11 thousand schoolchildren from 22 countries presented their views on the development of technology and entrepreneurship. In Germany, Austria, France, Great Britain and not only there were many young talents.
However, our country has one more reason for pride. The first place in the competition was taken by a project of Moscow schoolchildren. They suggested installing a “Home Security Panel” in each apartment, which would make it easier to call emergency services. A prize grant in the amount of 1 million rubles was awarded to the winners at the Synergy Global Forum.
The selection for the competition was held in an adult way. First, potential participants were given a test to determine their entrepreneurial abilities. Then, for 20 days, the contestants prepared a project, and in the final, each team defended their work before the jury.
Apart from our guys, the winners of the competition were the Austrian team with the idea of an Internet platform to help football fans and schoolchildren from Kazakhstan who offered city media boards. The teams finished second and third, respectively.
