Why do flowers die in an apartment: a list of all reasons

Sometimes even experienced housewives begin to die of houseplants. It is especially offensive if the flowers are grown with love, but they still begin to rot or dry out. The cause of the problem can be both in improper care and in the negative energy of the room.

1. Excessive or insufficient watering

In the first case, the flower rots. Please note that rotting in this case always starts from the root. In the second case, the flower simply dries up.

2. Lack of light

There are plants that feel great in the dark, but there are also those that can die from lack of light. If you don’t have the ability to put the pot closer to the window, white walls, mirrors, or ordinary electric lamps will help you.

Excessive direct sunlight can also damage the flower. Under the scorching sun, many flowers develop real burns.

3. Unsuitable microclimate

Each type of plant puts forward its own requirements for the temperature in the room. Before buying a particular potted flower, be sure to check its preferences in this area.

4. Humidity mode

Flowers need not only be watered, but also irrigated from a spray bottle, since dry air is another of their enemies.

5. Diseases and pests

Various diseases and pests cannot be disregarded. The plant is not able to get rid of these problems on its own, it definitely needs help.

If you understand that you will not be able to correct all the mistakes, since there is no time, energy or desire, it is better to just give the flowers in pots to those who need them. Perhaps, by their appearance, the flowers are trying to ask you just about this.

The opinion is quite widespread among the people that the flowers in the room are dying because of the bad atmosphere. Most often this happens if a pessimist lives in the house, who constantly complains about life and whines. Domestic quarrels, swearing and screaming do not add to the atmosphere of the sun. Flowers absorb negative human emotions and die.

Another reason is that flowers take a hit if someone wished you or your house bad things. The plant has waned, withered – it means that it fulfilled its purpose, protected the owner, but at the cost of its own life. Therefore, it is advised to thank the flower and bury it in the ground.

There is another version: they say that you cannot give a person a flower in a pot or a shoot. Those flowers and seedlings grow best of all, which seem to have been taken without the knowledge of the owner, but at the same time left money to the mother plant. Then it will not be offended, and the “baby” will grow well.

Believers are advised to read a prayer in order to cleanse the energy of the room and bring the flowers back to life.

Also try to have some very large plants. They will absorb all the negative, but they themselves will not suffer from it.

If you understand that flowers are dying due to lack of experience, start a few of the most unpretentious plants for a start, for example, Kalanchoe, hoya or fat woman. These plants thrive even with minimal maintenance. Over time, as you learn to handle these simple colors, you can create something more capricious and sophisticated.
