What to cook for breakfast from eggs

A tasty, healthy and appetizing-looking breakfast will be a great and positive start to your day. And if it didn’t take a lot of time spent at the stove to prepare it, or if the help of small households came in handy, breakfast becomes a holiday. Egg dishes will perfectly fit into our concept of a healthy breakfast, because having been charged with the energy of protein foods in the morning, the body will be in good shape all day. What can you cook from eggs, except for the banal scrambled eggs and light omelet? Let’s get creative, use the food left over from dinner, and let’s get started.

 

Eggs in bell pepper

Ingredients:

 
  • Egg – 4 pcs.
  • Sweet bell pepper – 1 pcs.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Sunflower oil – for frying
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Peel and finely chop the onion, cut the pepper into rings (or use the leftovers from decorating the festive table, then it will be more fun if the peppers are of different colors). Heat the oil in a frying pan, put the mugs of peppers, pour onions into each and break one egg at a time, being careful not to damage the yolk. Cook over high heat for 2 minutes, add salt and pepper, reduce heat and fry until you like the yolk state.

Eggs in buns

Ingredients:

  • Egg – 6 pcs.
  • Wheat bun – 6 pcs.
  • Cream 20% – 100 gr.
  • Parsley, green onions – 1/2 bunch each
  • Parmesan – 100 gr.
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.
 

Cut off the top of each bun with a sharp knife, remove the pulp with a teaspoon and place the buns on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Carefully break the egg into a bun, add salt, pepper and chopped herbs on top, pour in the cream. Cook in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Poached eggs for breakfast

Ingredients:

 
  • Egg – 2 pcs.
  • Grain bread toast – 2 pcs.
  • Lettuce leaves for serving
  • Vinegar – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

There are different ways to cook poached eggs, we will share one more, quite simple. Pour water (3-4 cm) into a deep frying pan, salt well and add vinegar. Boil. While the water is boiling, break the egg into different cups (bowls, glasses) so that the yolk remains intact. Gently but quickly pour the eggs into the water, cover and turn off the heat. After 4-5 minutes, put the eggs on the toast with lettuce. It is most convenient to get ready-made eggs with a slotted spoon.

Chamomile eggs

 

Ingredients:

  • Quail egg – 4 pcs.
  • Sausage – 2 pcs.
  • Butter – for frying
  • Salt – to taste.

Cut the sausages lengthwise, then make transverse cuts in each half, roll up the resulting fan and chop off with a toothpick. Put in a frying pan with heated oil, cook for 2 minutes and gently break one egg at a time in the middle of the flowers, add salt. Fry until the yolks are ready. Decorate with herbs and fresh cucumbers if desired.

 

Baked eggs

Ingredients:

  • Egg – 4 pcs.
  • Russian cheese – 100 gr.
  • Butter – 1 tbsp. l.
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.
 

Separate the yolks from the whites, beat the last with salt into a thick foam. Grease small muffin tins (cocotte makers, bowls) with butter and distribute the protein mass equally. Press lightly in the middle of each mold, pour in the yolk, sprinkle with grated cheese. Cook in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with herbs if desired.
