Well-being: testing the Do-In to keep in shape

Fitness: do-it-yourself relaxation exercises

Small stress-relieving exercises

The actions are simple and most can be done discreetly. Even in the shower or when you apply your cream on the face! In the morning, the Do-In is an excellent wake-up call for the body to eliminate traces of fatigue, stimulate our digestive system and start off on the right foot! During the day, it is a boost to manage stress before a meeting, for example, or to boost yourself in the event of a pump stroke. In the evening, it helps lower nervous tension and get rid of toxins accumulated by muscles and joints, responsible for cramps and muscle contractures. Foot massages, for example, provide almost immediate relaxation and soothing. Ideal for rebalancing energies. And then, light pressure on different parts of the body also improves blood circulation. Thanks to stretching, we gain flexibility. And with deep breathing, we boost pulmonary ventilation. Thus, the Do-In provides great relaxation at the muscular level, but also for the mind because during the session, we focus on the here and now. This is the opportunity for a beneficial one-on-one with yourself, to get to know yourself better and reclaim your body. Good news: you don’t have to be a pro to get started, you just need to follow a few tips. Before starting a session, rub your hands together for a few seconds, then shake them gently. These movements help to make a break with his activities and to put himself in conditions. You are now ready to chain a few movements or perform a full session. When exercising, always remember to breathe calmly.

Relieve back pain

Stand with your body weight evenly distributed over both feet. Do not straighten your knees too much or arch your back. In this position, the diaphragm immediately relaxes, making it easier to breathe. Then with closed fists, rub the lower back. Slightly tilt the bust forward and then massage the bottom of the spine, as well as the buttocks. Finish by placing your thumb on the right side of the bust, just below the last rib (draw an imaginary line from the navel to find the correct height). Make several circular motions, then do the same on the other side. Very effective in relieving back pain.

Relax the shoulders

It is an area that accumulates tensions because with stress, we tend to contract them. The solution: stretch! First exercise: extend your right arm in front of you, bring it against your chest with your left hand. Second exercise: bend the right arm back and put your hand on the right shoulder blade. With the left hand, push the elbow up. Then do the same movements with the other arm.

Regain peps. Pinch the eyebrows between the thumb and forefinger of each hand and gently peel away the skin, moving from the nose to the temples. To repeat twice. Then pat the eyelids with your fingertips. It helps reduce eye pressure and chase fatigue. Then massage the inside of the right palm with the left thumb in circular motions. Do the same with the other hand. A good way to re-motivate yourself.

To calm down

In case of nervousness or great excitement, massage the area on the inside of the right forearm, below the wrist (the equivalent of two inches below the crease of the wrist). Do the same on the other side. A magic point to calm the heart rate and quickly provide a feeling of calm. To reduce stress, massage the right wrist with the thumb and forefinger of the left hand (same on the other side). Need to relax ? Massage the top of the head, which is painful at first because it accumulates tension.
