Wday tests: restoring hair after summer

– Hair care after vacation is a guarantee that they will live up to the New Year without problems. The main thing is to choose the right products, because damaged hair is especially sensitive to our experiments. For several years I have tried different remedies – from salon restoration to its analogue in bubbles.

Expectation: Discipline Travel Kit consists of three small bubbles – shampoo, conditioner and scalp cleanser. Uka (the Japanese brand that supplies the Authentica Club) has been dealing with nail and scalp issues since 1947 and divides its products by time of use into day and night. A bit strange for a Russian consumer, but interesting.

Reality: my set was called Nighty Night – it’s a colloquial “good night”, so I decided to try it before bed. From the first time, the shampoo stubbornly did not want to wash, although I applied enough – this often happens when the composition is natural and there are no surfactants – lauryl / laureth sulfates, which are responsible for the thick head of the foam. It was all the more gratifying that after the cleanser for the scalp, it was completely clean. It’s very unusual without foam (because I’m not really driven by naturalness), and the conditioner only added to my bewilderment – the hair was not at all slippery, as is often the case with leaving. Well, I think I won’t comb it now – and began to prepare for the worst.

In the end, everything turned out to be completely different from what it seemed – the hair was very light, and I felt new sensations on the scalp – the product seemed to make it less sensitive and gave a feeling of cooling.

Evaluation: 9 out of 10, I really liked the refreshing effect, but I would like more nutrition – my dry hair can only take a very generous portion.

Expectations: speaking of hair restoration, one cannot fail to mention the progenitor of bonding – Olaplex. This is a composition that strengthens the disulfide bonds of the hair, allows it not to break or split after coloring or exposure to heat. Two compositions are applied in the salon, and the third is given home – to be used once a week.

Reality: I have had several bonding treatments, but Olaplex, of course, stands alone – the boom in these funds happened a couple of years ago, and since then in almost every salon you are offered to undergo a procedure. A small bottle with the number three helps to prolong the effect at home – I applied once a week instead of a mask for ten minutes. It will not be possible to find time in the morning – with this tool you need to arrange a real beauty salon for yourself at home.

But the effect is worth it – the strands are elastic, and the hair seems to become heavier – a very pleasant feeling. I also liked the laconic design and the almost complete lack of fragrance.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10, I love the idea of ​​continuing the salon care at home.

Expectations: a mask with white tea, jasmine and baobab extract should nourish the hair, prevent splitting, and also make the strands soft, manageable and silky.

Reality: many have heard about the unusual Oribe hair products – they are thick and oriental, real aromatherapy. I have been using the brand’s dry shampoo for a long time, and it was interesting to try the mask. It makes my hair shiny and soft the first time – and my curls are not so easy to get a well-groomed look. I keep the mask longer than it should be – firstly, I hoped that the fragrance would remain on my hair (no), and secondly, it’s just nice. I was pleased that the hair remained clean for three days – unfortunately, many nourishing masks sin by the fact that the strands get dirty the next day, but Oribe showed commendable resistance.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10, I was glad that the mask also smoothed down the “fluff” at the temples – in wet weather, it spoils the whole hairstyle.

Expectation: anti-brittle complex and plant amino acids restore hair and fill it with strength, and vitamin B5 helps to smooth, soften and protect curls. The products do not contain silicones.

Reality: for the first time I got acquainted with L’Occitane hair products in some kind of travel kit – they saved my hair a lot on a business trip. This is a cool tandem that works separately – I have not bought a conditioner since then (personally, a nourishing mask is more suitable for my hair), and shampoo periodically appears in the arsenal. Its charm is that it does not dry curly hair at all – it washes it not until it squeaks, but very carefully. A pleasant base product that will definitely not make your hair worse and will serve as an excellent start for any mask, as it does not contain silicones. And by the way, this means that they can wash hair after long-term styling – biowave and keratin straightening.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10, pleasant products for every day.

Expectation: Thanks to proteins and vegetable oils, the product regenerates the hair structure, restores health to thin and dry hair. After using the mask, your hair regains health, shine, and is easier to style. Despite the thick consistency of the mask, the hair does not become heavier after application.

Reality: Firstly, I was really pleased with the scent – many on the forums compare it to a hair mist, and this seems to be true. The scent of fresh jasmine flowers was clearly felt, as soon as you went out into the sun – heated hair smelled like a summer garden. Very nice. As for the consistency, I really like such masks – not very greasy, but not fluid either – it is instantly “eaten” by the hair and does not form a film on their surface. Several times I transferred the mask to a smaller container and took it with me to fitness – together with a regular hairdryer from the sports center, it gave an excellent smoothing effect. The strands lay flat, did not fluff, did not become electrified – and this was without any additional styling (it was not enough to carry it with you yet). Definitely the mask will discipline curly hair and give it a shine.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10, but I’ll warn you about the scent – if you don’t like it, the mask will be hard to use.

Expectation: Microparticles of amino acids penetrate deeply into the hair follicle, restore and saturate the hair with proteins and lipids from the inside. Provides intense hydration and restoration of even the most damaged hair.

Reality: Urban bottles of Kevin Murphy will adorn any bathroom – the first of the “bricks” I got was clay, which was almost immediately squeezed out by my boyfriend (a spoiler – now he is getting close to this balm). The brand is difficult to assess immediately, in appearance – they have neither a mind blowing aroma, nor an expensive marketing history (well, we all know how it happens with “precious oils” and gold particles). Therefore, I judge by the composition and properties.

And there is a lot of interesting things – both omega-3 and olive leaf extract, silk proteins and damask rose extract – all together have not only a one-time, but also a cumulative effect. After the first wash, the hair was easier to comb and became denser, but the hairstyle “lived” fresh for only a day – I had to use dry shampoo at work. Perhaps you should try this balm along with a highly cleansing shampoo or scrub, and step away from the hair roots when applying (or take less money – I never really regret it for myself, my beloved). I want to see how the balm will behave after 5-10 applications. By the way, the majority of “advanced” salons work on Kevin Murphy cosmetics – this is for those who are not ready to buy products right away and want to test them “in action”.

Evaluation: 9 out of 10, not a bad remedy, but be careful with the dosage.

– I’m a fan of hair products. Especially in the post-vacation period, when the poor curls, scorched by the sun, need special protection. And since for the second week now I have not had time to sign up to the salon to trim the ends, testing the intensive recovery masks was my salvation.

Expectation: I didn’t know anything about the Morphosis brand before. But the annotation to the mask from the Repair Rich Treatment line got me interested in the remedies. First, he bribed the composition. For example, my mask includes sunflower seed extracts, almond proteins, ceramides and hyaluronic acid, which, according to the manufacturer, not only moisturize and restore the hair structure, but also give strength, shine and elasticity. Let’s see if this is the case.

Reality: I’ll say right away, the mask turned out to be worthy of recommending it to friends and acquaintances. But I’ll start in order. At first it is, of course, a fragrance with delicate almond notes. Moreover, the smell seemed natural to me and even reminded me of aroma oil. After me, the texture conquered. It turned out to be very pleasant, it is easy to apply to the strands and is also easy to rinse off. Well, the result after turned out to be excellent. Split ends are less visible and hair is smoother. The only pity is that the aroma from the mask after drying immediately disappeared somewhere, and they began to smell only like shampoo.

Rating: 10 out of 10.

Expectation: I have never used CHI brand products. But the Tea Tree Oil line could not be ignored. I was bribed by the main ingredient in the name and the incredible refreshing herbal scent. At the same time, the manufacturer writes that the products of the collection, in addition to tea tree oil, also include peppermint oil, natural silk and chamomile. I got a mask and serum for testing. The first one is used instead of or after the conditioner and immediately gives the strands a healthy look, and the second one is applied before and / or after drying the hair and provides protection from the hair dryer, styling and UV rays.

Reality: both the mask and the serum did not fail. But most importantly, thanks to the aroma, the beauty ritual using these products has almost turned into a spa procedure. At least, herbal notes were still heard from my bathroom for a long time. The mask was perfectly absorbed, washed off perfectly with cool water, and after it the hair was easily combed and looked healthy in general. At first, the serum confused me with the texture – very liquid and sticky – but I liked the result: I applied it to the ends, and they began to look perfect.

Rating: 10 out of 10.

– Not so long ago I did biochemistry, which I have been lamenting for the third month already. The once healthy and shiny hair has become a real punishment. There is no trace of curls. Hair is wavy and frizzy, splits and does not lend itself to styling. So recovery is what the doctor ordered.

Reality: I have a lot of respect for Clean Line. They know how to make quality products at the lowest price. I even have their face tonic in the bathroom. But, alas, this test failed for me. After a week of application, the hair really became soft, like a child’s. This is a plus! It’s just that combing such hair (and even a decent length) after washing was not an easy task. Using a balm spray after shampoo and conditioner is a standard procedure for me, but it also worked with difficulty.

I stopped the “treatment” for my hair and switched to another conditioner. However, I cannot say that in no case do I advise using this tool. What did they promise on the label? Recovery without burdening. Did the tool cope with this task? Definitely. And it is inexpensive. This is also a plus.

Evaluation: 5 out of 10. The product did its job of healing hair, but it was difficult to comb long, thin and gaunt hair after using it.

Reality: I have already described my neglected case earlier. It was important for me to put my hair in order, to feel that it has become denser, and to make the procedure of combing after washing more pleasant.

I felt the effect after the first application. The brushing procedure has been somewhat simplified, although I have not given up the additional use of the usual balm-spray. Hair that is difficult to style has become more manageable.

Evaluation: 7 out of 10. Generally satisfied with the result, but there is something to strive for.

Expectations: The shampoo promises to deeply nourish and restore hair, returning it softness and elasticity, as well as shine and radiance from roots to ends. Siberian ginseng is a unique natural source of vitamins A, B, C, organic acids and oils that deeply nourish and restore strength and health to hair. A regenerating mask based on organic thistle moisturizes and strengthens hair.

Reality: the shampoo is excellent, but it washes out only the second time. In combination with the mask, it creates the effect of a voluminous heavy head of hair, which surprised me a lot. No restorative agent has given such a result. I also really liked the neutral fragrance: neither during use, nor after the aroma is practically not felt on the hair. Hair after leaving is shiny and fresh, dry ends are moisturized. Plus the head looks clean for a couple of days. The only drawback of the shampoo is the pump dispenser, which works in a very specific way. But this is already nit-picking.

Rating: 10 out of 10. Both shampoo and mask are great!

Expectations: both shampoo and spray are formulated for damaged hair damaged by chemical exposure or harsh weather conditions. The manufacturer claims that after use, the hair gains density, healthy appearance, easy to comb and shine. In addition, vitamin E in the formulation helps to improve blood circulation and promote hair growth. The spray is designed to restore the hair structure, give it density and remove static electricity. The product promotes easy combing and protects hair from damage during styling.

Reality: the shampoo cleanses very gently, smells good and does not dry out the scalp (which is important for me personally). After using, I did not have any irritation or itching – not every shampoo can boast of such an effect. It foams well and washes off easily. Even after the second wash, the hair does not squeak. I liked the spray much less. I sprayed a small amount on damp hair, dried it with a hairdryer – everything was fine. However, after an hour, the hair already looked dirty. And not at the roots, but precisely along the entire length. I concluded that the spray is only suitable for very dry hair, and gave it to my friend. By the way, she was delighted with him.

Evaluation: Shampoo – 10 of 10. Spray – 3 of 10… Unfortunately, it did not suit me.

Expectations: Firming Protein Care, as the label says, is a true psychotherapist for the mane. It is suitable for damaged and colored hair: nourishes, moisturizes, fights split ends and protects from color washout.

Reality: in the composition I found silicones, panthenol and argan oil. I think this remedy will appeal to the owners of dyed and severely damaged hair. For mine, he also came up very well, despite my dislike for silicones. The hair has become very shiny, smooth and well-groomed, like after a salon procedure. I am thinking of using Evo Mane Attention Protein Treatmen at least once a week or before an important event: the hair becomes very beautiful.

Rating: 10 out of 10. I recommend it to girls with any hair condition as a tool for an express transformation.

Expectations: This corn seed oil is designed to moisturize and nourish the hair from the inside out and restore its structure. In addition, it saturates the curls with vitamins and minerals.

Reality: the oil has a slight odor and a rather greasy consistency. It is very easy to use: I applied the oil all over the hair and even a little on the scalp, braided it and left it on overnight. In the morning I washed it off with regular shampoo, washed it a couple of times. After use, the hair became soft and manageable. The only negative – as with all oils – you can forget about hair volume. After the oil, the hair just shone, the hair was smooth as silk.

Rating: 10 out of 10. I liked the effect and the ease of use very much.

– After summer, my hair always needs good care. Especially if you managed to get to the sea during the season and bask in the sun properly. Therefore, in my arsenal there are always different masks that can quickly rectify the situation. I like to try new products, the main requirements for products: good cleansing, moisturizing and, most importantly, that the hair does not become heavy and dirty very quickly.

Expectations: I’ve never known Stenders before. I must say that the products have a very pleasant and tempting look. Although, probably, as anyone. Maybe I just really love the soft blue color?

Both the shampoo and the mask smell delicious, which is always nice. I love the aromatherapy products in the bathroom, and the hair smells good afterwards.

The manufacturer cites the following advantages: shampoo for dry and damaged hair with a hydrolyzed keratin complex heals the hair structure and strengthens it. The special combination of molecules of the 3D-formula deliberately penetrates the damaged areas of the hair surface, filling and repairing them. In addition, the shampoo does not weigh down the hair and is especially gentle on the scalp.

And here is a mask for intensive recovery, also with a hydrolyzed keratin complex, which restores the structure of damaged hair and strengthens it, penetrating into the very core of the hair. The composition of natural olive oil and apricot kernel oil gives the hair nourishment, and the refined aroma decorates it with unobtrusive floral-citrus notes.

Reality: in general, it’s all true! The products are really very good, but when I dry my hair with a hairdryer, it feels like I washed my head badly and at the same time it seems that the hair has become thicker, but also heavier. The volume does not hold at all. The mask has a very thick consistency, it may be worth applying it to the hair in smaller amounts, and the effect will be much better.

Evaluation: 8 of 10.

– Honestly, I do not approach the choice of shampoos too carefully. I have thick, not dyed hair, and I essentially have one requirement for shampoo – good cleansing. There are a little more requests for the balm – it must be thick and oily. Since my hair still curls a little, the right balm really makes combing easier. Heya products from Splat were bribed by the presence of the BIO prefix and the absence of silicone in the composition. Plus, I like Splat because of their toothpastes.

Expectations: Shampoo “Nutrition and Recovery” promised, in addition to the standard moisturizing and increasing the elasticity of the hair, the awakening of hair follicles and peace of mind. The balm “Strengthening and Activating Growth” promised to add shine to the hairstyle, stimulate hair growth, and the essential oils in the composition – tone and relieve fatigue. But seriously and really, I hoped that the products would pleasantly surprise me, since each of them contains more than 30 active ingredients.

Reality: I immediately liked the shampoo because, firstly, it is transparent (I read that this indicates naturalness), secondly, thick, which means that you can control its amount, and thirdly, it smells good. Foams well, and cleansing is also on the level (I soaped twice). Hair immediately felt softer to the touch. The balm at first seemed not very thick, but the texture turned out to be oily. The label indicated simply to apply along the entire length – neither rub in, nor hold for an especially long time. In my opinion, strange for a product that promises to stimulate hair growth. In general, a pleasant result: the hair is soft, well-styled, easy to comb, but without a wow effect.

Rating: 8 of 10 points. Hire a couple for the “expectation-reality” discrepancy from the balm. But if used for the purpose of nourishing and softening, rather than activating hair growth, then it is a good choice. True, the citrus scent that remains for a long time is also not for everybody’s taste.

Expectations: the effect of the oil-mask is threefold, because it promises to nourish the hair fiber, and immediately five times more, apparently from the usual, restoring strength and imparting softness. In this case, the hair should not turn out to be oily after application, and the result should delight you for 48 hours. All thanks to shea, macadamia, jojoba and almond oils in the composition.

Reality: read the label and recommendations for use. Read so that it doesn’t work out like mine. I relied on my own flair and intuition and did not read the fine print. After washing the hair with shampoo, I rubbed the product along the entire length of the hair and washed it off after three minutes. This was my main mistake. The mask does not need to be washed off! It can be applied to clean, damp hair for easy combing, or to dry hair, but on the ends throughout the day. I had to repeat the experiment. And then I tensed a little. You should be more careful with the product that remains on your hair during the day. The lack of a greasy effect is really important here. I had to set aside a little more time for my morning procedures. If after the usual shampoo-balm my short hair is already dry after 10-15 minutes and you can safely go outside in unpleasant autumn weather, then I had to wait three times more. Well, I thought, postpone the use of the mask for the evening, if you are in a hurry in the morning, but you want to use it as much as possible along its entire length. This time the wait was not in vain. My hair became soft and not greasy at all.

Rating: 8 of 10 points. I have not yet had the opportunity to consolidate the result and see the action of the mask in time. But the first impression is good. In addition, the price is excellent for a 300 ml jar. The hair is soft, not dry, but there is still not quite a comfortable feeling of the heaviness of the hair, there is no lightness. Perhaps you overdid it with the amount of mask? I’ll try to reduce the volume. There are two more points – the need to lay more time for morning procedures and smell. I don’t really like sweets. But this is taste. So I bet 8 out of 10.

Expectation: after using the mask, I want to get soft flowing curls and well-groomed hair ends. It didn’t look like straw, so as not to fluff and curl beautifully, looked undamaged. Also, the dye from my hair is quickly washed out. I want the color of dyed hair to look bright, not dull.

Reality: after the first application, I did not see the difference with my usual remedy. I apply the mask after every wash of my hair, although it is advised to use it once a week. But because of my dry hair, I have to do it regularly. However, after a week of use, I saw the result. Hair began to look healthier, softer and more well-groomed. A colleague at work asked if I had dyed my hair, but I was in the salon a month ago. From this compliment, I conclude that the mask really retains the color of the hair, the shade turns out to be more saturated, the hair looks shiny and natural.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10 – the result was seen not only by me, but also by others.

Expectation: to be honest, I don’t really trust cosmetics from catalogs, preferring to buy proven products. In addition, I had never encountered this particular brand before, so I was very skeptical about product testing.

Reality: surprisingly, both shampoo and conditioner were at their best! Manufacturers assured that the composition of the same shampoo, for example, includes natural aloe juice with unique regenerating properties, wheat proteins that help strengthen hair, and a complex of 6 valuable natural ingredients. Impressive. The only thing is that the product did not rinse my hair the first time, but perhaps this is due to the hardness of the water. But I had no questions about the air conditioner. It moisturizes and nourishes the hair perfectly. In addition, after it, it turned out to be much easier to comb the naughty hair, which is another undoubted plus.

Another bonus for me was a pleasant, unobtrusive aroma. For example, I hate pungent odors, so the barely perceptible herbaceous sillage turned out to be very handy.

Rating: 9 out of 10. Perhaps I will reconsider my attitude towards these products!

Expectation: it only seems that with the onset of autumn this remedy, only if you are not planning a vacation on the hot seas, you do not need it yet: our hair is constantly drying out, and not only from a natural luminary, but also from a variety of factors – cooking near a hot stove, using a hair dryer after washing, various spa procedures, so this balm will not interfere with the household.

Reality: “The intensive formula has a deeply caring effect, leaving hair healthy and soft,” the package promised, citing vitamin E in the composition. I did not feel a similar effect on myself even after three uses of the balm instead of the usual conditioner after washing my hair, however, it became much easier to comb and became a little more silky and shiny than usual.

Evaluation: 6 out of 10 points. The claimed effect was not found, however, another pleasant effect was rendered on the hair.

– To be honest, this tool came to me a month after the next dyeing, and the instructions clearly state that it should be applied before, in order to protect my hair from the negative effects of the dye. However, I took a chance and tried the spray after everything happened …

Expectation: none, since initially I did not follow the instructions.

Reality: using the first primer in my life was not so scary, because the bottle itself turned out to have a nice design – in a “business”, black and white color scheme. I was a little embarrassed by the lack of inscriptions in Russian on the front side of the bottle, but the manufacturer still included the instructions in our state language on the back – the very last one. I applied a little product after thoroughly washing my hair with the usual shampoo – instead of conditioner. I didn’t like the fact that the liquid is rather difficult to spray onto the hands, which creates certain inconveniences. Also, not much of it gets on the hair itself: almost everything is instantly absorbed by the scalp. However, the effect justified all the difficulties: hair fell out after the procedure less than usual when using the conditioner.

Evaluation: 9 out of 10 points. Minus one point for difficulty in application.
