Uveitis is inflammation of the eye that must be taken seriously. Red eyes aren’t the only symptom. It can damage the eye and permanently impair vision. These possible complications are far from trivial since they can lead to retinal detachment, glaucoma or cataracts, etc. It is therefore essential to diagnose uveitis as quickly as possible and to treat it as best as possible in order to avoid these serious complications. If you have significant eye pain and a new vision problem, with or without redness of the eye, see a doctor promptly. In addition, uveitis can recur. If you get any symptom (s) of uveitis after first successful treatment, see your doctor again.
