With each passing day, the news of the ill-fated COVID-19 is getting worse and worse. On the morning of March 23, it became known that there was a sharp jump in cases of coronavirus in Russia.
71 more cases were registered per day! This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting with members of the Cabinet.
All new cases of infection were recorded in Moscow, the COVID-19 operational headquarters said.
The general statistics are disappointing: the total number of infected in Russia has reached 438 people (262 of them in Moscow).
Mikhail Mishustin turned to elderly Russians and asked them to comply with the quarantine conditions.
“I would also like to appeal to young people – active, mobile. Please take care of the older generation. There are many lonely among them, and without you they simply cannot cope with the current situation. <…> You can bring food or medicine, help pay for utilities, if necessary, call doctors or social services for help, ”the Prime Minister said.
