Basic rules for self-massage

  • Start and end the massage with stroking. Determine the degree of pressure yourself, focusing on your feelings. This technique can be carried out in different directions: in a straight line, in a circle, in a spiral or in a zigzag.
  • The main method of massage is rubbing, due to which blood circulation improves, skin elasticity increases, and cellulite formations are absorbed. You can rub with your fingers (with the pads of four fingers they usually rub the face, neck, hands), the entire surface of the palm (rub the back), the edge of the palm (rub shoulders, knees, abdomen), with the base of the palm (rub the buttocks and thighs).
  • Include kneading the skin in the massage. To do this, pull and release the skin, then grab a large area of skin with both hands and knead it like dough. When kneading, the elasticity of muscle fibers improves, skin nutrition is activated, carbon dioxide and lactic acid are removed. You can knead the skin along and across the muscle fibers.
  • Pinching with fingers or palm helps against cellulite. Note that finger pinching is slightly more painful than palm pinching. It will be difficult to pinch the skin at first, but when the “” becomes smaller, the process will be easier.
  • Perform a self-massage session after a bath, bath or physical activity.

Do self-massage at least 3-4 times a week, or better – every day, for 5-10 minutes.
