«Time to inspire!»: what to expect in the new theatrical season?

Ingosstrakh proudly wears the high status of the general sponsor of the largest musical theater in Russia in the 244th theater season. This was reported to journalists by the General Director of the Bolshoi Theater Vladimir Urin and the head of Ingosstrakh Mikhail Volkov. What to expect from the cooperation of the two giants to the regulars of the Bolshoi?

Few people pay attention to the logos of partners and sponsors on posters of iconic performances, exhibitions and concerts, and it is thanks to them that we, ordinary connoisseurs, get unforgettable minutes and hours of involvement in world art. Ingosstrakh is far from being a novice in this area.

Experts deservedly call the company the leader of the art insurance market. The company’s long-term successful partnership with the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, the Pushkin Museum, the Hermitage and the Tretyakov Gallery is unknown only to a person who is completely far from the current cultural events of the country. In 2019, it was Ingosstrakh that provided insurance protection for the exhibits of the Russian pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale.

And finally, close cooperation with the Bolshoi Theater in the 2019-2020 theater season is becoming a new milestone for the company.

“The Bolshoi Theater of Russia has always been and remains one of the main symbols of high art; for more than 240 years it has influenced the development of opera and ballet all over the world. The opportunity to support the Bolshoi Theater is a great honor for Ingosstrakh. In addition, our cooperation demonstrates the company’s commitment to the development of socially significant cultural initiatives in Russia, and also meets our views on the role of socially responsible business in the life of society,” Mikhail Volkov said at a press conference at the Bolshoi Theater.

There are already many plans, and it is especially pleasant that they are of a federal nature, not limited by the Moscow Ring Road. The exclusivity of metropolitan culture in the XNUMXst century, when we observe the flourishing of isolation and the local closeness of high art even at the global level, risks becoming a problem if such initiatives do not become commonplace.

“It is planned to implement completely new projects aimed at popularizing the activities of the Bolshoi Theater in different regions of the country and among different age groups of the population. Such support is extremely important for the Bolshoi Theatre,” Vladimir Urin commented on the forthcoming work.

It is already known that the artists of the Bolshoi Theater, with the support of Ingosstrakh, will perform in the regions of Russia — we will finally catch the era when the Bolshoi will come to the viewer if the viewer does not have the opportunity to get to Moscow. And within the framework of the Big for Children project, the younger generation will get an excellent chance to get acquainted with the rich history of the theater and fall in love with opera and ballet — something that our country is rightfully proud of.

Another important milestone in the partnership, according to representatives of the Ingosstrakh company, will be the establishment of a special award, which will be awarded to Bolshoi employees for their outstanding contribution to the theatre.

The motto of the ambitious partnership between the Bolshoi Theater and Ingosstrakh is “Time to inspire!”.

The concept is in the spirit of the time — and it seems that this is exactly what is needed today for both creators and ordinary people.
