An ordinary Englishwoman Ria Pavlow at one point found herself the heroine of articles in several British media at once. They wrote not about the feats of a woman in the field of social work, but about how a 37-year-old woman decided to become a surrogate mother and what she was ready to do for this.
Ria has three children of her own: two were born in their first marriage, the third was conceived with the help of donor sperm. In addition, Ria is the biological mother of five more children, born to childless couples.

Guests – that’s how Ria affectionately calls the babies she wears “to order.” The first guest was Karl. He was born in June 2012.
“His parents were with me in the ward when he was born. When they were given the baby – oh, it was a magical moment. You have no idea what delight is written on their faces when they finally hold their child in their arms after so many years of torment and pain of fruitless attempts, ”said Ria.
Then there was Robert. The boy was born in 2014. And again, the baby’s parents were there, again Ria experienced her magical moments.
“They will be the best parents in the world. After all, they suffered for this child, they, like no one else, value their happiness, ”Ria is sure.
The woman’s next pregnancy almost ended in tears both for her and for the babies: Ria was carrying twins, and the birth began prematurely. Max and Ruby were so eager for the light that Ria was born right in the bathroom, without waiting for the arrival of the doctors.

For the eighth time, a mother with many children became pregnant at the end of last year. Daisy was born in July. And this time, the birth did not go as well as Ria had hoped. The afterbirth did not want to leave in any way. Bleeding began. Ria was admitted to intensive care and received a blood transfusion.
“The surgeon said I was lucky that they managed to save my uterus,” the woman says.
With the child, everything was fine – Daisy weighed almost four kilograms and was absolutely healthy.
Ria is now recovering from a difficult birth. She has no plans to end her “career” as a surrogate mother: “I want to continue to create happy families.”
And by the way, if you think that Ria makes a living in such an extreme way, then it is in vain. The mother of many children did not take a penny from any pair. And those for whom she gave birth did not hide from the children the secret of their birth. For all these babies, Ria became the second mother.
