The patient was sent home from the hospital in Limanowa twice, most likely as a result of an aneurysm rupture, informs the RMF FM radio, which publicized the case.
As reported by RMF FM radio reporters, these are the preliminary findings after the autopsy of a patient who was sent home from a hospital in Limanowa twice.
A 40-year-old resident of Laskowa in Małopolska, who was hospitalized on Sunday and Monday, complained of severe chest pain. The patient had an EKG test, was given painkillers, but was not admitted to the ward. As reported by RMF FM, on Tuesday the man, still feeling unwell, reported to a health center in Limanowa. There he suddenly collapsed and died.
The center’s doctor notified the prosecutor’s office in Limanowa, and the prosecutor initiated an investigation into the matter. Prosecutors will check whether someone has contributed to the patient’s death through their negligence.
