Autumn is the time to radically change your hair color or add brightness to a natural shade. The new look will add a good mood, especially since the choice of hair dyes this season is huge.
According to the autumn trends, in the field of colors, warm shades of the coming season dominate: red, copper, chestnut colors with a captivating red sheen, honey light. Platinum blond shades will also be in vogue.
Brunettes
Brunettes are in luck: dark hair shades shine brighter than light ones. When staining, it is enough to emphasize the natural beauty. And new dyes will help with this, because most of them contain natural ingredients, do not cause allergic reactions and do not “burn” the scalp, but, on the contrary, help to give a healthy and shiny look to your hair. As a result hair look like they’ve never been painted.
Preparing for staining
Apply the dye to dry, unwashed hair. So they are less injured because they are protected by sebum. On clean, freshly washed and damp hair, it is good to apply quickly rinsing tint products – gels or foam.
Before coloring, it is imperative to remove the remnants of varnish, mousse or other care products from the hair, otherwise the color may lie unevenly. It is best to brush them off your hair with a hair brush, and natural impurities (from the sebaceous and sweat glands) will not interfere with the action of the dye.
If the head is very dirty, you can wash it once, being careful not to touch scalpso as not to disturb the natural defenses.
Red
Copper and red shades are the undisputed favorites of the season. It is in the fall that most of us decide to turn from meek blondes into red-haired beasts. However, you won’t lose if you choose soft amber shades. The main thing is that the color emphasizes the beauty of your eyes and is in harmony with the skin tone.
Dyeing process
The skin along the edge of the hairline can be lubricated with a protective cream – this will protect it from irritation and from staining with dye.
If dye gets on your face while dyeing your hair, wash it off immediately with soap and water.
You should mix hair dye just before use, after a while the color intensity weakens.
While mixing, foam the paint, so you saturate the coloring composition with oxygen, the paint will be evenly distributed and it will be better absorbed.
When lightening hair, apply the dye from the part of the head where the greatest lightening, but the edge of the hair at the forehead and temples is processed last, since this is the thinnest hair and they quickly perceive the dye.
When dyeing hair with intense red tones, at first, the paint can be applied only to the length and ends of the hair, stepping back 2 cm from the roots.
To paint over the overgrown roots, apply the paint first to the roots, and 5-10 minutes before the end of color development, apply the paint along the entire length of the hair – this will even out the color.
Blondes
It is fashionable to be a blonde at any time of the year. But there is one problem – the rapid loss of gloss. The reason lies in the change in the weather. Due to the wind and high temperature in summer, the hair scales opened up, and the surface of the hair ceased to be smooth, that is, it began to reflect less light. But bringing back the shine is easy. This fall, you can find all sorts of shades in different lines: natural blonde, lightest, ash, porcelain, pearl and ivory.
Holding time and rinsing
Keep the dye on your hair for exactly the time indicated in the instructions. The time should be counted from the moment when all the dye is applied to the hair. If you rinse off the hair dye earlier, the result may not be what you expected. At the same time, if you keep the dye on your hair for too long, it will become more sensitive and brittle.
On average, the dyeing time should be at least 25-35 minutes, with lightening – at least 45-55 minutes.
Special care is required for dyeing hair that has undergone perm… They are more porous and therefore absorb the dye very quickly, so the dyeing process in this case should be shortened by 5-10 minutes, otherwise the shade may turn out to be darker than you expect.
If the hair is very coarse, thick, with a large percentage of gray hair, increase the holding time by 5-10 minutes.
Before rinsing the paint, emulsify: apply a small amount of warm water to the hair, lather lightly and spread over the entire length with massaging movements. This treatment will remove the dye from the scalp and give the hair a shine. Then rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water and apply a special shampoo and balm.
