The fastest way to boil beets

You can quickly cook beets using the microwave. A well-washed vegetable is placed in a plastic bag without peeling, tied tightly and placed in the microwave. Cook at maximum power for 15-20 minutes. As soon as half the time has passed (7-10 minutes), the microwave oven is stopped and the degree of readiness of the root crop is checked, if necessary, turn over and bake for another 7-10 minutes.

You can also cook peeled beets in the microwave. Previously, it is cut into small pieces and also placed in a bag, tied. Be sure to make punctures in the bag with a fork or knife for steam to escape. The baking time of chopped beets can be reduced to 10-15 minutes.
