In which a great variety of ailments are presented in alphabetical order — from agoraphobia and alcoholism to excessive coldness and snoring. For each of them, the authors offer one or another work of literature as a means of treatment. For example, men suffering from the flu are highly recommended Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables, Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird for those who cannot overcome their fear, and Dostoevsky’s famous work for those who constantly feel like an idiot. Brief information about the books is available, but writing an essay on it will not work. But to laugh to tears, admiring the irony and erudition of the authors — very much so.
