A new edition of the NVI’s most anticipated Tapas Route arrives in a few days to once again attract lovers of miniature gastronomy to the municipality

Pozuelo de Tapas celebrates its thirteenth edition, and continues to maintain the intense creative activity of the hospitality establishments of the Madrid municipality.

The event will take place in the bars and restaurants of the town attached to the Route from November 14 to 20, consolidating an interesting culinary proposal throughout the town and station neighborhoods.

For a week, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to savor the culinary proposals of dozens of hospitality establishments for a fixed price of € 3, including Tapa with drink.

A Route that every year has greater participation, not only creative, but also tasting by diners, who design their routes carefully so as not to miss a single bite of the participants of the culinary festival.

As in previous editions, the three winning proposals of the last edition of the Pozuelo de Tapas will be the image of the poster for the November edition of this year.

The culinary proposal, the jury and the awards.

To the traditional staging of salty, hot and cold skewers that each hospitality establishment decides to present, the sweet creations have joined in the last editions, which make the contest a rich chromatic menu of tastes and flavors.

The number of participating establishments grows and with it also the recognitions and prizes, and with the help of the sponsors, such as Le Cordon Bleu, the association of merchants of Pozuelo (ACPC) or Madrileña Red de Gas, the three cash prizes are awarded of 1.000, 750 and 500 euros and special recognitions. Theirs, although rich, is not an easy task with outstanding tapas.

The jury will once again be made up of a cast of public figures from the municipality, represented by councilors, hospitality professionals and representatives of the aforementioned collaborating entities.

The criteria for deliberation do not change, so the preparation, flavor, ingredients and presentation will be key to stand out from the rest. Always staring at the non-binding popular contribution of the participating public vote that surely paves the way for the difficult decision of the jury to opt for one or the other.

Among all those who actively participate not only in the tasting but also in their personal choice, dinners, tickets to the Mira and sets of accessories for wines will be raffled, thus making the tasting even more attractive.
