Recently, more and more people are working in Excel from tablet computers and other touch screen devices. This causes some inconvenience, since the standard Excel interface is designed to work more with a personal computer. Fortunately, Excel 2013 has a built-in tool that makes it easy to solve this problem.
If you are working in Excel on a touch screen device, you can run Touch control modeto create more free space on the Ribbon, making it easier to run commands with your fingers.
- Click the arrow to the right of Quick access panels and select from the drop-down menu Touch or mouse mode.
- Team Touch or mouse mode will appear on Quick access panels.
- From the command drop-down menu, select Touch Control.
- The ribbon will switch to touch control mode, and the size of the icons and the distance between them will increase.
To disable Touch control mode, click command Touch or mouse mode and select from the drop-down menu Mouse.
