Table of animals according to the Eastern calendar

The Chinese (Eastern) zodiac is a 12-year cycle chart in which each year corresponds to a particular animal. It is believed that the signs of the zodiac corresponding to these animals, to one degree or another, determine the character of a person; on their basis, various personal characteristics are developed, incl. the compatibility of two people is determined, etc.

The table below shows all twelve signs according to the Chinese horoscope (or animals according to the Eastern calendar) by year.

Note: A new zodiac cycle begins with the Chinese New Year, which occurs on different dates from January 21 to February 20 (the specific date for each year is also indicated in the table). This should be taken into account when determining your sign.
