In this tutorial, we will explain how to save Excel files to Windows Live SkyDriveto access them from any computer or share them with other people.
Service SkyDrive now called OneDrive. The name change was due to copyright infringement. There are no fundamental differences in how these services work, just a new name for an existing service. Some Microsoft products may still use the name SkyDrive.
- Open a document.
- On the Advanced tab Fillet (File) select Save & Send > Save to Web > Sign In (Save & Send > Save to Website > Sign In).
Note: If you don’t have an account Windows Live (Hotmail, Messenger, XBOX Live), you can register by clicking on the link below the button.
- Enter your credentials and click OK.
- Select a folder and click Save As (Save as).
Note: Click on the button New (New Folder) in the dialog box that opens to create a new folder.
- Enter a filename and click Save (Save).
You can now edit this file using the web application Excel Web App from any device, regardless of whether Excel is installed on this device or not.
To share this file with other users, do the following:
- Go to office.live.com and sign in to your account Windows Live.
- Select a file and click Sharing (General access).
- Enter your email address and click Share (Share).
The user will receive a link and be able to edit this Excel file. In addition, you can work with several users at once in one workbook at the same time.
