There is another method, for which prepared cereals are poured with cold water and left for at least 4 hours, and preferably overnight. In the morning, the excess liquid is drained, the cereal is placed in a gauze bag or a nylon stocking and sent to a pot of boiling water. Cooking will take at least half an hour with this method.

  • enough water is boiled in a saucepan;
  • prepared semolina is poured into boiling water with constant stirring;
  • immediately removed from the fire, covered with a lid and wrapped in a towel;
  • leave it like this for half an hour.

After that, if necessary, flavorings are added in drops, while the melaska is diluted in water, in which the grains are planned to be steamed.

Experienced anglers recommend kneading the bait with your hands after cooling to avoid the presence of lumps.

Non-standard ways

There are other cooking methods that make excellent quality bait.

They include:

  • cooking in a matchbox. To do this, grits are poured into an empty matchbox, flavoring is added. The boxes are tightly wrapped with threads and dipped in boiling water. In this way, they cook for at least an hour, as a result, a nozzle is obtained that perfectly keeps on the hook even in strong currents.
  • The bait is prepared without cooking, for this method you need semolina and a dense nylon stocking. The required amount of cereal is placed in the stocking and placed under a stream of running water. The result of such actions should be a viscous mixture of very well-washed semolina, it is recommended to use it only in reservoirs with stagnant water.
  • Prepare nozzles from this ingredient and for long-term storage, you will additionally need eggs, soy flour and any sweet syrup. The procedure is not complicated, it is worth starting from mixing 2 eggs and 50 ml of any syrup. Separately mix soy flour and semolina until smooth. Next, all the components are combined, kneaded well until smooth and small balls are molded. The finished balls are dipped in boiling water and boiled for a couple of minutes, then they can be used as bait or put in the freezer for storage. According to the same principle, the manufacture of boilies is carried out.
  • The bait made of semolina and powdered milk has proven itself well, you will additionally need eggs and some kind of flavoring. 6 eggs are mixed in a container, flavoring, 3 tbsp. l of powdered milk and 2 tbsp. decoys. If, when kneading, the mass turns out to be watery, do not be afraid to add grits. They also roll balls, but you don’t need to boil them, it’s better to dry them in the microwave or oven. As a flavoring, it is recommended to use garlic juice, strawberries, ground black pepper, vanilla powder.
