Do you remember when the world saw the first mobile phones, they were incredibly expensive and it seemed to all of us that we would never be able to use them. But in an amazingly short time, mobile became available, and after that it became commonplace. It looks like we should be patient and prepare for the fact that in the near future robots will cook for us. Here we will rest then!
British company Moley Robotics has developed the perfect kitchen gadget, the Moley Kitchen robotic kitchen. In early December, the novelty was presented in Dubai at the IT exhibition.
The robot kitchen can do everything: it can cook dinner for you and wash the dishes. The movements of the “hands” of the robot are identical to those of the human hands: it pours soup, adjusts the power of the stove, and removes it after cooking.
Moley Kitchen is the brainchild of mathematician and computer scientist Mark Oleinik. Famous British chef Tim Anderson was invited to develop the recipe capabilities of the robot kitchen.
About 30 recipes were created, but their number is promised to be expanded to 5 recipes in the near future. In addition, the developers promise that the owners of the robot kitchen will be able to add their own dishes to its recipe book.
How to buy?
It’s not cheap: the robot costs at least £ 248, about the same as the average UK home. Mark Oleinik acknowledges the high cost, but claims to have already received 000 sales requests from people interested in buying. He said the price is equivalent to a supercar or small yacht.
That is, it looks like the super-rich have figured out what to give each other for Christmas.
However, according to the company, cheaper models should be expected in the future. Let’s wait?
