Racing Tapas for Teruel Ham

The Motorland Aragón speed circuit will be the inspiration for the Jamón Tapas that will be served these days in Teruel.

Since last Friday, a total of 70 hospitality establishments of the Teruel province, have produced 99 spiked-shaped single-seaters, inspired by the racing circuit of Motorland.

The Association of Tourism Entrepreneurs of Teruel and the managing entity of Tourism of Aragon, launch a new edition that in turn has the sponsorship of the Spanish Federation of Hospitality (Fehr), The Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation (CEHAT), And the Municipal council of the city of Teruel, have prepared a great gastronomic event that its large participation of hoteliers ensures its success.

To help with its dissemination, a very particular mascot has been created, “El Jamoncico” riding a powerful motorcycle, he will visit all the participating towns and taste the culinary creations of each participating local.

The contest and its original motor theme

As we have anticipated previously, a tribute is paid to the world of motoring and in this case it is personalized in the figure of the Motorland Aragón circuit, perhaps the second local emblem after the precious Jamón de Teruel.

The contest has a contest approach, and each establishment offers and displays in its premises the tapas that have been prepared for the contest, along with flyer or tag where the name of the cover is detailed, the number with which it is competing, the ingredients with which it has been developed, thus guaranteeing its content or not allergens, and in the event that it has been linked to the motor theme, a brief explanation of it.
