Prevention of anal fissure
We can reduce the risk of anal fissures by preventing constipation:
- Favor foods rich in dietary fiber, such as whole grains, pulses, fruits and vegetables and if necessary, take a mass laxative in case of constipation (psyllium, Metamucil®, etc.) to soften the stools.
- To drink enough;
- Regularly engage in physical activity;
- Go to the toilet as soon as the need arises and avoid forcing.
