Preventing colds in winter

1. Take a daily multivitamin

The complex must necessarily contain vitamins C, E, A, beta-corotin, selenium and zinc – they support the immune system well. Drink orange juice in the morning for extra support. But remember that it retains its beneficial properties only for 10 minutes after spinning.

2. Increase the dose of vitamin D by 10 times

Since the sun is a rare visitor in our area in winter, it is this vitamin that the body especially “misses”, and as a result, immunity decreases. To avoid this, take 2000 IU of vitamin D every day.

3. Flush your nose with sea salt solution

Every morning, stir half a teaspoon of sea salt in a glass of warm water and rinse your sinuses – this solution perfectly destroys pathogenic microbes.

4. Forget about white sugar

It lowers the activity of white blood cells, which absorb bacteria and make antibodies. Instead of sugar, use natural sweeteners such as honey or maple syrup.

5. Take immunomodulators

Drink a tincture of echinacea, lemongrass, or ginseng. There is also a good Ayurvedic remedy – Chavanprash jam, which is sold in Indian spice shops.

It is a natural bioregulator based on more than 48 medicinal plants that balances metabolism, strengthens the immune and endocrine systems, keeps tissues young, and keeps the brain vigorous and active. You need to take jam twice a day, in the morning 15 minutes before meals and before bedtime, washed down with warm milk or water.

And, of course, do not forget about onions and garlic – they are famous for their ability to increase the body’s defenses.
