Oliva has long been considered a symbol of maturity and wisdom, nobility and victory! Its fruits give us delicious butter, and they themselves are a frequent year on the table in any home. What is the difference between olives and olives and how are the fruits of the olive tree useful?

In fact, olives and olives are the same fruits, just different degrees of ripeness and oil content. Olive varieties are also oily and pickled.

At first, the olive is green, then darkens, becomes purple, and then completely black. Green olives are firm but low in oil. Black olives are soft and saturated with oil.

From one tree, which, by the way, is very tenacious, they harvest 15-50 kg of olives or olives! 1 liter of oil is obtained from 5 kg of olives.

Raw olives taste bitter, so they are pickled in every possible way, and only then are they served. Getting oil and pickling olives is not a simple, costly and time-consuming task, so it costs a lot of work, which is reflected in the price of the finished product.

Olive oil

Olive oil is preferable to sunflower oil, as its benefits are much greater. Oils of the first extraction Extra Vergin and the second Vergin are the most useful, they are used in salads, they are introduced into children’s and diet menus. Oils of a lower quality, a mixture of prime and refined, are used for baking and frying.

Thanks to the use of olive oil, the blood is purified, immunity is increased, the blood vessels and the heart become stronger and more enduring. The oil has a beneficial effect on digestion and skin condition.

Olives and olives

The fruits of the olive tree themselves are also useful – they are rich in vitamins and minerals: proteins, vitamins C, E, B, pectins, catechins, phosphorus, potassium and iron. Remember that canned olives and olives are a salty product, and you should not get carried away with their use.

Pectins help the body to get rid of toxins, therefore they are useful to everyone who lives in not the most ecologically clean regions. Treatises have been written about the benefits of proteins – this is the basic material for building muscle.

The complex of vitamins that make up olives has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, relieves stress, at the same time gives healthy vigor and adds energy. Due to vitamins C and E, olives are antioxidants, including used as a prophylactic agent against cancer.
