General description of the disease

Mycoplasma is a venereal infectious disease that is sexually transmitted (with oral, vaginal and anal sex), when passing through the birth canal of newborns and very rarely, with a contact-household route of infection.

The causative agent of the disease is mycoplasma (a microorganism that has features inherent in both bacteria and viruses), its incubation period in the body lasts from three days to one month.

Mycoplasma symptoms

Women: the paraurethral passages, urethra, vagina, body and cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, large and small vestibular glands, pelvic peritoneum are affected, there may be transparent, white or yellowish-transparent vaginal discharge, pain in the lower abdomen and lower back, intermenstrual blood.

In men: the paraurethral passages, epididymis, urethra, seminal vesicles, testicles, bladder, prostate gland are affected, there may be small mucopurulent discharge from the urethra, burning and itching of the genitals, painful sensations during intercourse, redness of the urethra opening, pain in areas of the rectum, scrotum, perineum.

For both sexes: pain in the liver, skin rashes, excessive exposure to colds.

The consequences of mycoplasma

Mycoplasma can provoke the development of such side effects and diseases as: orchitis, decreased sperm activity or death, prostatitis, cystitis, urethritis, infertility, inflammatory diseases of the genitourinary system, epididymitis, pyelonephritis, bacterial vaginosis, pathology of the newborn, fetus or pregnancy.

Useful products for mycoplasma

There is no special diet for mycoplasma, but it is worth adhering to the principles of a healthy lifestyle and rational nutrition. The diet should contribute to the successful treatment of the disease with antibiotics and increase the body’s defenses. You should pay attention to the fact that the diet should contain the required amount of useful trace elements and vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

Among useful products, stand out:

  • dark rice, buckwheat and oatmeal;
  • seafood;
  • fresh vegetable salads;
  • natural yogurt and goat milk;
  • fresh natural vegetable and fruit juices;
  • skinless chicken breast;
  • low-fat fish (mackerel, salmon);
  • liver;
  • vegetable oil (for example, olive);
  • butter in dishes;
  • wheat and rye bread;
  • homemade vegetable soups;
  • fish fat;
  • mashed beans and legumes;
  • pasta;
  • raw berries and fruits (pineapple, grapes, melon, apples, mangoes, oranges, orange grapefruit, pomegranate, lemons, blackberries, cranberries, strawberries, figs, raspberries);

  • seasonings (in small quantities) and spices: rosemary, turmeric, cinnamon, thyme, oregano, ginger, hot pepper;
  • dark chocolate;
  • cocoa, tea, rosehip broth, natural black coffee;
  • flax and sesame seeds.

Traditional medicine for mycoplasma

  • infusion of goldenrod (two tablespoons of herbs for two cups of boiling water, insist in a thermos for 40 minutes) take ½ cup four times a day for three weeks;
  • herbal collection of equal parts of winter-lover, wintergreen, upland uterus (10 grams of collection for three cups of boiling water, boil for five minutes over low heat, wrapping well for an hour) take during the day, the course of treatment is 21 days;
  • herbal collection of oak bark (2 parts), badan root (1 part), borax uterus (1 part), Kuril tea (1 part) should be used for external hygiene and douching (20 grams of herbs per liter of boiling water, for 20 minutes. boil under a lid over low heat, leave for two hours, filter) use in two steps;
  • garlic paste (150 grams of garlic chopped in a blender, 150 grams of vegetable oil, a tablespoon of vinegar (6%) or lemon juice, two teaspoons of salt, beat the mixture until the consistency of a cream) should be used with various dishes instead of butter, mayonnaise or sour cream;
  • Kuril tea (one or two glasses a day).

Dangerous and harmful products with mycoplasma

When treating mycoplasma, the following foods should be limited or excluded from the diet: pickles, spicy foods, marinades, smoked meats, sandwich butter, alcoholic beverages, margarine and confectionery products containing it, animal fats (lard, beef fat), foods that contain a high level cholesterol or trans fats.
