Unfortunately, micellar water has unspoken restrictions on the type of skin: for example, the owners of the oily type often notice the feeling of an invisible film, rather than freshness. Therefore, the best “micellar” is suitable for girls with dry and normal skin. When choosing a product, pay attention to plant extracts to avoid allergies.

Expectations: I tried a lot of micellar products that did not live up to expectations: some dried the skin, others stung, others did not cope with the main task.

Reality: the first thing that attracts attention is the delicate floral scent and beautiful packaging design. Lancôme can easily be classified as an express product, because it quickly coped with evening make-up without leaving mascara streaks. After applying the product, the skin becomes fresh, but, unfortunately, I did not have enough hydration: for the sake of experiment, I removed my makeup with micellar water and did not apply night cream on my face. In the morning I woke up with dry dehydrated skin.

The product does not leave a sticky film, but, as I said, this minus is most often found in girls with oily skin. Eau Micellaire Douceur is used very economically: in a week and a half of daily use, it took 1,5 centimeters from the vial.

Rating: 8 from 10… I take off a point for insufficient moisture and another one for the price.

Micellar water for sensitive skin is the first product that I decided to test a few years later after a major disappointment with La Roche-Posay. Then I ruined my skin with a cream with acids, after which I did not trust pharmacy brands for a long time. After a while, the resentment against the brand passed, but I try new products with great caution. Fortunately, micellar was found to be quite harmless and effective in the La Roche line.

Expectations: I use micellar water only in the most extreme cases: I prefer to cleanse the skin with foams without sulfates. Aggressive surfactants are contraindicated in my sensitive and reactive skin. The main thing for me is a very gentle cleansing without unpleasant sensations from cosmetics and dirt, non-comedogenicity and no film effect. The appearance of irritation and redness is also not on my list of desires. At the same time, I do not expect any miracles from micellar water for sensitive skin: everything should be simple and effective.

Reality: La Roche-Posay micellar water for sensitive skin turned out to be just the perfect test subject. I took her out of town with me, as there were no other opportunities to remove makeup and cleanse my face. The product exudes an unobtrusive fruity and cosmetic aroma. It washes out waterproof mascara and foundation very quickly and beautifully. Absolutely not stinging the skin and eyes. After application, the face remained even and did not even become covered with pink spots, which is a great rarity for me. After the micellar cleansing ritual, I washed myself with warm water and applied a toner: the skin behaved perfectly, there was no discomfort.

Rating: 10 out of 10. I didn’t expect to say this, but micellar water for sensitive skin is now on my list of my favorite and most essential products, especially when traveling.

Recently, I have become addicted to micellar water. No, really! Apparently, up to this point, I simply could not find “the very” cleanser, and therefore everything that I tried had an extremely negative effect on my skin: irritation, a feeling of tightness and peeling appeared. Recently, however, I have come across as many as three different brands of cleansers, which I absolutely love. Today I would like to tell you about Dr. Brandt.

Expectation: to be honest, I am still delighted with the moisturizing flash mask of this brand, so I also had many requirements for micellar water. First, of course, so that she perfectly cleanses the skin, but at the same time does it softly and delicately. And secondly, to suit such sensitive and capricious skin like mine.

Reality: this micellar water, enclosed in a rather nice bottle, is part of the XYY (Xtend Your Youth) line of products represented by the cosmetic brand dr. Brandt back in the spring of 2014. The manufacturers promised that this product increases the skin’s resistance to external aggression and stress, and also helps the skin to stay young and beautiful longer. This product is great for removing eye make-up and even lens wearers can use it with peace of mind. It consists of a million hydrophilic nanoparticles that create an effect, the so-called microsponges. These nanoparticles (micelles), combining on the skin with particles of decorative cosmetics or skin impurities, perfectly cleanse the skin without causing discomfort or other reactions.

In fact, it turned out to be a 2 in 1 remedy. That is, it not only effectively and gently cleanses, but also provides antioxidant protection. In addition, micellar water does not contain fragrances and parabens, which is a definite plus, and does not require rinsing. I use the product in the morning and in the evening, you just need to moisten a cotton pad and wipe it on the face and neck, and for the eyes, accordingly, you need a little more micellar water.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10. I think I found my micellar water.

Expectation: micellar water H2O-C-Pure, Lysedia, bribed me with its composition, in which the manufacturer added only natural ingredients. The main ones are cornflower extract and vitamin C. My expectations from the product are quite commonplace: wash off impurities and cosmetics without unpleasant consequences such as redness, peeling, etc.

Reality: First of all, I was bribed by the pleasant scent H2O-C-Pure, Lysedia, in which you can hear floral notes. I also liked the texture, light and delicate. The tool ideally (the second time) washed off the foundation and mascara. In this case, neither the skin nor the eyes were affected. I did not feel any discomfort. But I didn’t dare to leave micellar on my face. I immediately washed it off with cool water, and then applied tonic.

Rating: 10 from 10… I did not have any complaints about the tool, but I will only use it in extreme cases. Still, I like cleansing foam better.

Micellar water has long been a must-have for my cosmetic bag. I use it every day in combination with special makeup removers, and during business trips and vacations instead of them. A tube of miraculous liquid is consumed almost the same way as a hair shampoo. That is why I approach the choice of micellar with great care.

Expectations: Cosmetics “Clean Line” have long been successfully coexisting with other brands on our dressing tables. No matter what they say, no matter how they question the quality of the products of this brand for their cheapness, I am convinced that some of them are really good. And cucumber lotion simply has no equal.

Manufacturers assure that their micellar water can also successfully compete with similar products from other brands.

Judging by the inscription on the label, the product gently removes makeup from the face due to the presence of chamomile in the composition – it soothes and softens the skin, and the rose included in the composition helps to neutralize and remove toxins.

Reality: the product is really good at removing makeup from the face. However, in my opinion, it is not very economical to use. A single cotton pad is not enough to remove makeup. And two, and even three.

After use, there is a feeling of tightness, as if an invisible mask has appeared on the face. And in the most delicate places, for example, around the eyes, there is a slight burning sensation. I would like to immediately wash my face with cool water and moisturize my face abundantly.

Evaluation: 5 out of 10 points. As a temporary replacement for the usual micellar or for the period of a financial crisis, the composition of “Clean Line” is suitable. But I would not recommend purchasing it for permanent use.

Expectations: manufacturers position their micellar water as a unique means for cleansing and toning the skin of the face. The natural complex White Diamond Elixir makes this unique composition in a tube.

Micellar has the best qualities of a cleansing tonic, milk for removing make-up, acts gently and gently, very effective, rinses off well and relieves various irritations.

Reality: at the base of each micellar water are microscopic particles called “micelles”. This is essentially the main component of the tool. This is why the unique composition claimed by the manufacturers on the label made me question the manufacturer’s honesty. What if the unique White Diamond Elixir complex is a banal marketing ploy?

I study the composition of micellar water in detail and critically. As a result, I find white truffle extract in the list of ingredients. OK! I believe.

The spray dispenser makes Diamond Cellular Micellar Water easy to use. The scent is subtle and does not irritate the eyes. I apply micellar on a cotton pad and then follow the instructions …

The tool perfectly removes makeup, but a slight burning sensation around the eyes is still present.

After use, the skin becomes soft and moisturized. Very, very good result.

Evaluation: 7 out of 10 points. I take off 3 points for barely perceptible discomfort. Perhaps it is related to the characteristics of my skin. In general, the tool has withstood all the tests with dignity.

Caudalie cosmetics have long received a lot of accolades in their address. The presence of grape seeds in the composition makes the products of this brand unique. Micellar water is no exception.

Reality: after testing the “Pure Line” micellar and Oriflame, to tell the truth, I began to develop paranoia. Both products caused an unpleasant burning sensation around the eyes. Maybe it’s not about the means, but about my suspiciousness?

After the very first use of Caudalie, I became convinced that everything was fine with me. “Doesn’t burn!” – the first thing I thought when I finished the evening makeup removal procedure.

The tool is economical to use. The smell is pleasant and does not irritate the eyes. This is my shortest review on micellar water. But this is what I recommend to you, dear readers.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10 points. And if the manufacturers also made a dispenser in the form of a sprayer, I would put all 12 points.

Reality: For some reason, Vichy cosmetics always aroused confidence in me, maybe because it is on the shelves in pharmacies. As a result, it turned out that it was not in vain that I treated her so warmly.

Vichy Purete thermal lotion was perfect for me. The delicate texture of the cleansing water does not dry out the skin or irritate the lacrimal glands. The cleansing is very comfortable and pleasant, and the skin looks great. After using the product, you do not even need to apply the cream.
