Lifting dumbbells with one hand in the direction of technique of the exercise:
- Select a dumbbell of a suitable weight for you, and take it in hand. Free hand has to rely on something stable, to give the body balance during exercise.
- Stand up straight.
- Keeping the body straight, exhale, slowly raise dumbbell to the side. The arm is slightly bent at the elbow. Hold the dumbbell in the top position for 1-2 seconds.
- On the inhale slowly lower the dumbbell down.
- Perform the exercise with your other hand.
