Sweet cakes
Prepare a simple and delicious version of baking on kefir – butter biscuits with powdered sugar. They can be baked in just half an hour and served warm. You can make adjustments to the recipe by adding a little lemon zest or cinnamon to the dough.
You will need: – 2 glasses of kefir; – 2 tablespoons of refined vegetable oil; – 0,5 cups of sugar; – 1 teaspoon of baking soda; – 1 tablespoon lemon juice; – 500 g of premium wheat flour; – icing sugar for decoration.
Instead of kefir, you can add sour cream diluted with milk to the dough
Beat kefir with sugar, add soda, quenched with vinegar. Gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough. Roll it into a XNUMX⁄XNUMX-inch-thick layer and place it on a greased and floured baking sheet.
Bake the product in an oven preheated to 200 degrees until golden brown. Cut the hot cake into squares or diamonds and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
You will need: – 200 g of creamy margarine; – 1 glass of kefir; – 2 eggs; – 0,5 teaspoon of baking soda; – 1 teaspoon lemon juice; – 1,5 cups of sugar; – a pinch of vanillin; – 300 g of wheat flour; – a handful of seedless raisins.
Wash the raisins and cover them with hot water for 15 minutes. Then drain the water, dry the raisins.
Raisins can be replaced with dried cherries or nuts
Melt the margarine over low heat, add sugar to it, mix well and cool the mixture. Add kefir, eggs, soda slaked with vinegar, vanillin to it, then add flour. Place the raisins in the dough and mix well.
Roll out the dough on a floured board. Cut out figures from it with metal notches – for example, circles, rhombuses or stars. Arrange the cookies on a greased, floured baking sheet. Put it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake cookies until golden brown, then remove from baking sheet and cool.
Try crispy biscuits with thick jam or marmalade. Choose jams with a slightly sour taste, such as lemon or cherry.
You will need: – 1 glass of kefir; – 1 glass of jam or jam; – 1 egg; – 100 g butter or margarine; – 2 tablespoons of sugar; – 3 glasses of flour; – 0,5 teaspoon of baking soda.
Beat kefir with sugar, eggs and soda. Melt the butter and pour it into the mixture. Pour in the sifted flour in portions and knead the dough. Separate a small portion and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Roll the remaining dough into a thin layer and brush it with jam. Grate the frozen piece of dough and sprinkle the crumb with the resulting crumb. Place it on a greased baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Cut the finished cookies into squares, cool and serve.
