Joint discomfort: what are the causes?

Often related to age, joint discomfort is the daily life of millions of people in France and Canada. They result from a large number of causes which, for the most part, are still poorly understood. Overview of the symptoms that affect the joints.

Painful joints on exertion: osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis is the most common joint pathology. It is a degenerative disease: it is said to be formed with wear and tear. The cartilage that covers the bones in the joints crumbles with age or as a result of repetitive strain injuries as is the case in great athletes. Because of this, it rarely appears before quarantine.

What symptoms?

As the bones are no longer protected by the cartilage during friction, movement becomes difficult and pain appears. They mainly occur during exercise and are calmed by rest. Osteoarthritis mostly affects the joints that support a large part of the body, such as the hips, knees, feet and spine.
