Israeli woman lost weight up to 3 kilos in 40 weeks of juice diet
 

For three weeks a resident of Tel Aviv followed a strict diet, eating exclusively fruit juice.

This diet was advised to her by an expert on alternative medicine, to whom she turned, dissatisfied with her weight. Having obeyed, the woman began to strictly adhere to the specified diet. And for 3 weeks she lost a lot of weight, having become less than 40 kilograms.

But instead of the joy that the extra kilos were gone, the woman faced serious consequences for her health: the water-salt balance was disturbed in her body. As a result, a resident of Israel was hospitalized.

According to doctors, there is a serious danger that three weeks of eating fruit juice will lead to irreparable damage to the woman’s brain. The reason for this could be hyponatremia – a drop in the concentration of sodium ions in human blood. Because of this, water is redistributed from the blood plasma to the cells of the body, including the brain cells.
