In Britain, newlyweds fed wedding guests with waste

An unusual decision regarding a wedding banquet was made by the British Kayleigh and Joe Tilston. They did not surprise the guests with pickles and some outlandish dishes, the main concept of the wedding table was that all the treats were prepared from the leftovers of previously served dishes.

But, despite this approach, the menu included sea carp and perch, beef, pork ribs, chicken, as well as vegan and gluten-free dishes. That is, everyone could find a dish to their liking.

However, the guests did not even suspect anything. Only at the end of the banquet, Kayleigh and Joe announced that the treats were made from waste.

The newlyweds explained their decision by the desire to reduce the amount of waste through recycling and reuse. In addition, a garbage banquet is 5 times cheaper than a regular one. “The average wedding breakfast is £ 25 per person or more,” says Kayleigh. “When there are almost 300 mouths to feed, cooking with leftovers is smart.”

The news shocked some of the guests, but there were also those among them who asked for more anyway.

We will remind, earlier we told how the guests at the wedding in different countries of the world are fed, and also wondered how they make wedding bouquets from pizza in New York.
