How to show a notification in Word before saving changes in the “Normal” template

Templates in Word are like blanks for documents. They can save formatting, styles, page layout, text, and so on. All this allows you to quickly create documents of various types. The default template used to create new documents is the template Normal.

If you make changes to the template Normal, Word will save these changes without additional notice. However, if you want Word to ask if you really need to save changes to the template Normal, use the special option in the settings. We’ll show you how to enable this option.

Note: The illustrations for this article are from Word 2013.
