To prevent pizza from turning into porridge or a hard and unusable piece of dough, it must be properly reheated. Whether it gets wet or dries up strongly depends on the way of heating, and the time, and the rush.
Reheating pizza in the oven
Put the oven to warm up to 200 degrees. Do not rush to send a baking sheet with pizza there – you will hurry up and you will end up with too soft dough. Do not overexpose the pizza when heating it in the oven – the top layer can also burn out and the rim of the dough can be stiffened.
To make yesterday’s pizza more juicy, add sliced tomato and grated cheese on top, sprinkle with vegetable oil, and remove unpresentable products.
Reheating pizza in a frying pan
Preheat a skillet, place the pizza on a hot dry surface and cover with a lid. After 5 minutes, add the grated cheese, and after another couple of minutes, open the lid to dry the pizza. If the pizza is initially dry, you can add a tablespoon of water under the lid and steam the pizza.
Reheating pizza in the microwave
Which pizza comes out depends on the type and power of your microwave oven. You can also soak dry pizza a little – a microwave works best for this. Or you can use the grill mode and fry the softened pizza a little. The heating time in the microwave is the fastest.
