How to pickle pink salmon at home: a recipe. Video

Pink salmon meat has a pleasant delicate taste and a high content of vitamins, for which it is appreciated among gourmets and supporters of proper nutrition. You can also cook many dishes from this fish. As a snack, for example, salted pink salmon is perfect.

How to pickle pink salmon: a homemade recipe

Ingredients:

  • salmon carcass
  • 2,5 st. tablespoons of salt
  • vegetable oil
  • spices to taste
  • 1 Art. sugar spoon

Prepare the fish for pickling. To do this, clean it of scales, gut it if necessary, cut off the head, tail and fins – they can be used to make delicious fish soup. Cut the pink salmon carcass lengthwise into two parts, remove the ridge. Rinse under running water and dry thoroughly with a paper towel. Cut into portions or leave as is.

Combine the sugar and salt in a separate bowl and add spices to taste. Rub the fish thoroughly with the prepared mixture on all sides. Pour some vegetable oil on the bottom of a glass dish in which the fish will be salted. Put the pink salmon in there and sprinkle with the remaining salt. Cover and leave for 3 hours at room temperature. Then put it in the refrigerator for a day. After the allotted time, the pink salmon will be ready. Peel it of spices, cut and serve, beautifully laying out on a platter.

Do not be afraid to oversalt the pink salmon – it will still not take more salt than it needs. The main thing is to remove salt from it after a specified time.

Ingredients:

  • Gorbuša
  • 2,5 st. tablespoons of salt
  • 1 Art. sugar spoon
  • bunch of dill
  • white pepper

Prepare the fish for salting as described above. Cut into 3 cm wide pieces. Sprinkle each with white pepper, rub with a mixture of salt and sugar. Chop the dill, sprinkle it with pink salmon. Place the pieces of fish on plastic wrap, sprinkle with the rest of the salt and sugar, press as tightly as possible to each other. Wrap the cling film. Put the pink salmon in the refrigerator for a day. Then remove the spices and serve it to the table.

Lightly salted pink salmon with spicy sauce

To cook pink salmon using this recipe at home, you will need:

  • 1 kg of fresh salmon fillet
  • 2 st. tablespoons of salt
  • 1 Art. sugar spoon
  • ½ bunch of dill
  • 2 orange

For the sauce:

  • 20 g honey
  • 20 g whole grain French mustard
  • 40 g of olive oil
  • 20 g vinegar

Wash the pink salmon fillet and pat dry with a paper towel. Peel the oranges and cut into slices. Rub the pink salmon with a mixture of salt and sugar. Sprinkle with dill and overlap with orange slices on both sides. Leave in the refrigerator in a glass container for a day. Make honey mustard sauce by mixing all the ingredients you need. Cut the pink salmon fillet into thin slices and arrange beautifully on a plate, garnished with parsley and olives. Serve with sauce.
