Do you like chocolates, which are always placed in stores near the checkout, to remind us once again, they say, do not forget to buy something tasty? But, for sure, you know that all sorts of, far from pleasant, chemicals are added to them. There is a way out – a homemade variation of your favorite bar. Today we are preparing Twix chocolate sticks.
This recipe is very easy to make and tastes even better than the original Twix.
Ingredients:
- 400 grams. Butter
- 2 glasses. Flour
- 2 banks. Condensed milk
- 0,5 cups. Sugar
- 300 grams. Milk chocolate
Preparation:
1. Cut the butter into cubes. Set aside 3 cubes for caramel. Add flour, sugar, a couple of pinches of salt. Mix everything with a blender.
2. When the dough looks like crumb, pour it into the mold. Tamp it tightly, level it. We put in the oven at 180 degrees. for 20 minutes
3. Now we prepare the caramel. To do this, put 3 cubes of butter in a frying pan and pour out 2 cans of condensed milk. Boil until a caramel mass is formed, stirring constantly. It will take min 20.
4. When the mass begins to thicken, remove from heat. Spread the mass on a completely cooled cake and level it well.
5. Melt 3 bars of chocolate in the microwave or water bath. Pour the finished chocolate on the base with caramel. Once again we level it well and put it in the refrigerator for complete solidification. Ideally, a future twix should spend 2 hours there on the top shelf.
6. Take the form out of the refrigerator and cut into thin strips similar to the original Twix bar.
