How to make the most of lemon or lime juice
 

Squeezing lemon and lime juice is not a big problem, but have you noticed how much juicy pulp still remains on the skin when you discard the squeezed halves? There are a number of juicing devices, but we can’t fit all devices in our kitchens, and for the sake of one lemon you won’t turn on a juicer. Therefore, we have collected a few hacks that will help you get the most of your juice.

  1. Roll a lemon or lime on the table, while squeezing it harder, but not too much so that the skin does not burst. This will destroy the membranes around the juice capsules.
  2. Heat a lemon or lime in the microwave, for just 10 seconds at maximum power, the water molecules in the fruit pulp will disperse so that they rupture the membranes around the capsules.
  3. And the fruits can be frozen. When the liquid inside the pulp turns into ice and expands, the membranes, again, will not withstand such an onslaught and burst. This method is time consuming, it is convenient to use it only in the presence of a large number of fruits, which will last longer. Just do not forget to get it the day before and let it completely warm up, you can use the microwave in defrost mode.
