Preparing croutons for a salad or snack is not difficult. The sliced bread should be placed in a hot oven preheated to 120 degrees – then they will not burn and they will not have to be turned over. Just 30-40 minutes – and the croutons are ready to eat.
During the preparation process, the bread naturally loses moisture, while black bread will dry for 10-15 minutes longer than white bread.
If there is very little time, you can put a baking sheet with breadcrumbs in the oven preheated to 200. You just have to carefully monitor them and turn them over if necessary. These croutons will be ready in 15 minutes and become very crumbly.
If you like crusty croutons that are soft on the inside, keep them in the oven for 15 minutes, then turn each one over and fry again for 15 minutes.
To make the croutons even tastier – sprinkle them with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and collect aromatic herbs for cooking.
