How beauty bloggers deceive us, blogger lies and myths

It is definitely not worth believing in the words of the beautiful half of the Internet’s inhabitants.

Who helps girls to be beautiful besides us? Beauty bloggers, of course! There are no exact statistics, but there are definitely millions of representatives of this wonderful “non-professional” on the Internet. But far from everything you need to believe: advice is not always correct, and a person can bend his heart. We have collected the words of beauty bloggers about what is certainly not true.

Eye patches

The blogger shows “makeup for every day” and, while painting eyes, sticks patches under them, claiming that they perfectly relieve swelling and help wake up. Truth? Sure! But no one will certainly glue them under the eyes every day. And if you are too lazy, you should not be ashamed of it.

“The tool is wonderful, I use it myself”

Of course, this often turns out to be true. But it is worth thinking if the funds in the bottle are poured almost to the brim and for “constant use” has not disappeared. Alas, bloggers can get paid to advertise too.

My perfect morning

One of the most popular videos on YouTube is “My Morning Routine”. Bloggers easily jump out of bed, smile at the new day and run to prepare a delicious breakfast, simultaneously applying a mask on their face (and those same patches).

And before you start scolding yourself for the lack of energy and love of life in the morning, remember that bloggers do not talk about the ideal routine in the morning, and not everyone wakes up from the first alarm clock, happily eat oatmeal with beautiful berries and look perfect in the frame. Deception fully justifies a beautiful picture and inspiration in the end, but this is not a reason to feel worse than someone else.

She bought all the cosmetics herself

It is far from the fact that the beauty blogger really paid for everything that she shows in the frame, even if the title contains the word “purchases”. Brands include Internet stars in their PR mailings and are happy to share new products or funds for a certain amount. But thanks to this, we can find out in advance what is worth paying attention to and how online stores can please us.

“Be sure to write under the video if you were young too!”

After “write under the video” there can be any words, because the harsh truth is that often bloggers are not very interested in the real state of affairs, and comments are needed to raise the video in the tops.

To be fair – some bloggers do conduct surveys among subscribers to understand what might really be interesting to the audience.
