Stew with potatoes and vegetables

Peel the potatoes, cut them into large pieces, cover with water, add salt. Boil the potatoes until soft. Remove the husks from the onions, peel the carrots. Grate the carrots, cut the onion into thin half rings. Crush the garlic in a mortar.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet and fry the onion in it until golden brown. Add grated carrots and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add tomato paste and chopped tomato. Cook the mixture for a few minutes, and then put the stew in the pan. Season everything with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Chop fresh parsley finely. If the potatoes are boiled, drain some of the water and put the fried stew with vegetables in a saucepan. Add chopped garlic and parsley, stir the dish and place the potatoes and stewed meat on warmed plates. Serve immediately.

Potatoes with stewed meat in pots

Try to cook a very tasty and quick dish – potatoes with stew baked in pots. For a more interesting taste, you can add mushrooms to the dish.

You will need: – 250 g of stew; – 10 potatoes; – a mixture of dry Provencal herbs; – salt; – black peppercorns; – 1 onion; – 150 g of champignons; – 150 g of cheese.
