PSYchology

From childhood, I envied actors, but not their fame, but the fact that they were given this ability to immerse themselves in the personality of another and live the life of another, suddenly changing their values, feelings, and even appearance … I always knew, I was convinced that this is the way of the fastest personal growth and development.

What to invent? You saw a worthy personality — appropriate it. Play it not only externally, but also internally, «imprinting» its character at once, in its entirety. Reproduce the essence of this person, his I, attitude, attitude towards the world and himself, his way of life. Think with his thoughts, move with his movements, feel with his feelings. Find a person who is enthusiastic (or uncategorical, or unselfishly related to the opposite sex, or wise — you know better what you need) — and get used to him. That’s all.

That’s all — become a good actor, a real actor, an actor of both external and internal image, and very soon you will become a great person.

Naturally, if this is in your plans.

I continue to believe in the promise of such a path of personal growth, and I am in no way embarrassed by the seemingly obvious fact that the actors themselves (when not on stage, but in ordinary life) are not the most comfortable people and, by the way, not the most successful. The one who has become an actor has not yet become a great person at all.

Actors are good to love until you encounter them in life. But in life they are … well, very different, and often resemble wizards without a king in their heads. But then — you need to take the art of reincarnation, which real actors own, master it and use it for good, and not like them.
