This guy’s story is just a miracle! Kiro Ortiz opens his impromptu psychology room every Sunday right on the street in New York.
Life in a big city is stressful. And in a very large city – great stress, which reaches its peak during the pre-holiday bustle: all this running around with gifts, and it would be nice to finish all unfinished business. And then an 11-year-old superhero, a boy named Kiro Ortiz, comes to the aid of the New Yorkers.
A sixth-grader from Brooklyn, in whom he has not gained even one and a half meters (but his charm – for all three), spends every Sunday sitting at a New York subway station. Kiro invites everyone to dump the burden from their souls with their “spiritual advice”. One consultation costs two dollars. And the sessions of the young psychologist, just imagine, are a success.
The young counselor will listen to everyone who needs help. And then he will give advice based on his own life experience. It sounds, maybe, amusing. But by the age of 11, Kiro had already gone through a lot of troubles. For example, he knows what bullying is at school. Yes, plus the ability to empathy – you get really emotional advice.
In general, the fame of the young Mr. Ortiz went far beyond the metro station, where he conducts “reception”. People ask him for advice about relationship problems, work problems, and family concerns. Kiro says the most common problem adults face is their attempts to cope with the changes that are taking place within themselves.
– We have to accept these changes. They will happen anyway – they always happen – speaks the truth through the mouth of a baby. – Life is such a thing, it is constantly changing.
And it’s incredibly amazing how much wisdom there can be in one little schoolboy! People even started reaching out to Kiro for phone advice. For example, one of his clients, after a conversation with a boy, told his father that he said aloud what she had felt inside herself for a long time, but could not grasp this feeling in any way.
Imagine – only two dollars, and you have already figured out yourself! Great deal.
“He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear. He said what I really needed, – said another of the boy’s clients. – True, he did not find change from the top five.
Kiro earns about $ 50 per day. And he does not spend money on toys or comics, like any normal boy of 11 years old. He – just think! – buys lunches at school for those children who cannot afford it.
It seems to us that Kiro’s business is an example of entrepreneurial thought. He helps people – both big and small. This is the real social responsibility of business. Keep it up, little boy. You are doing great.
