Goodbye Corona vaccine cakes are sold in Germany

Tim Kortem, a baker in the German city of Dortmund, has already made headlines during the first significant coronavirus-related Lokdanua in Europe. Then he baked cakes in the form of toilet paper rolls, we also wrote about these interesting cakes.

And now the pastry chef has a new idea – he sells cakes in the form of a syringe for vaccination, – reported the website msn.com with a link to the German tabloid Bild. The cake is made in the shape of a vaccination syringe with the encouraging inscription “2021 Bye Bye Corona”. The cake tastes like marzipan and costs 15 euros.

“We have sold over 20 cakes in the form of a toilet paper roll. This allowed us to compensate for losses and avoid “downtime”. Now a friend gave me an idea for a cake – a vaccine, ”says Tim Kortuem. “Maybe customers will buy two syringes at once. After all, the vaccine has to be done twice … ”- he adds.

Recall that earlier we talked about the main culinary trends of 2021, and also wrote about a new way of blowing out candles on a birthday cake, which appeared thanks to the coronavirus.
